We understand that you are distressed about a lost bag, and we want to lift up your concern in prayer. Before we do, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
As the scripture says, And in no other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!," Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has lost a bag. We pray that if it is Your will, the bag will be found and returned to them. We also pray that through this situation, they will draw closer to You and experience Your peace and comfort.
We are also called to not worry about earthly possessions, as Jesus tells us,
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33 WEB
In this time, we pray that they will seek Your kingdom and righteousness first, trusting that You will provide for all of their needs. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God cares for you and that His peace surpasses all understanding. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this situation. Remember that God can work all things together for good, even the loss of a bag for those who love Him and are called by Him. Continue to pray and seek God's will in all things.
