Heavenly FATHER, though great intercession has been made on his behalf, and even greater mercy has he been shown; still, there is no judgement in his goings. He has made his way crooked. In the midst of a cloud of witnesses, those who have followed in his path have known no peace. Even those of his own party have subjected themselves to insult, redicule, assault, termination, "resignation," indictment, and even imprisonment. For the good of this nation, it is in shaking the dust of my feet that I place this leader in the righteous hands of the living God. "PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION AND ARROGANCE BEFORE A FALL." For "God resisteth the proud." In Jesus name. Amen.
Commentary: While we forgive those who wrong us, we neither support nor pray for those who purposefully and arrogantly set themselves against God; we are instructed to thrust them away, in some cases we even hand them over to satan. By these instructions, God clarifies that forgiveness neither means complicity nor complacency.
