We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ to pray for your safety and the safety of your family, and all those driving this weekend. It is so important to invoke the powerful name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and can find help in our time of need. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection. As we and our loved ones travel this weekend, we pray that You would dispatch Your angels to go before us, preparing the way and guarding us in all our journeys. Deliver us from evil, as Your Word promises in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB:
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You are able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before Your throne with exceeding joy. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you prepare to travel, remember the reassuring words of Psalm 91 WEB:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
Be wise, alert, and drive with caution, obeying all the laws, knowing that God is your protector. Trust in Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
If you do experience any trouble do not forget to call on Him. Psalm 50:15 WEB says:
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.
We are reminded that our prayers are heard and answered when we pray according to God's will and in the name of Jesus Christ. So let's always remember this and encourage others to do the same.
