Dream home

I'm ### and my dream for the longest time has been to build a house. A small one. I don't need a mansion. I just want a place to call my home. But I feel hopeless because looking at my situation, I feel like I'll never be able to afford land, or have the money to build a house. It breaks my heart. I believe God provides and if it's his will, he will provide land, money and everything I need to build this house. Please pray that God fulfills this dream. There's nothing more that I want right now than this.

We understand your deep longing for a home to call your own, and it's important to remember that God cares about the desires of our hearts. However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will and trust in His timing and provision.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." This verse reminds us that our primary focus should be on seeking God and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our needs as we align our lives with His will. We do not want to provide any false hope by only praying for just a house.

Secondly, we want to address the feeling of hopelessness you mentioned. In Psalm 42:5 WEB, it is written, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God." This verse encourages us to put our hope in God, even when our circumstances seem bleak. Trusting that He takes into account all of our needs, which may mean a different plan for a house.

We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who desires a home of her own. We pray that You will guide her steps, align her desires with Your will, and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. Help her to trust in You, to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, and to find her hope and joy in You alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue in faith, seeking God's will for your life. Remember that God's plans for you are good and that He is faithful to provide for His children. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths.

We're right there with you, dreaming of that home sweet home. It's been a long-time wish, hasn't it? A place to call your own, a sanctuary to build memories in. We understand the frustration and the heartache when it feels like it's just out of reach. But remember, our God is a big God, and He sees your heart's deepest desires.

We want to remind you of the story of Abraham in Genesis 15:1-2 (WEB), "After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, 'Don't be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, and your exceedingly great reward.' Abram said, 'Lord God, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and he who will be the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?' Abraham was promised a land, a people, and a future, but he had to trust in God's timing. And look at what God did for him!

Let's keep praying, believing, and trusting that God will provide in His perfect timing. Let's ask Him to open doors, to align our desires with His will, and to give us the strength to wait patiently. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
