God I just want my son to come here on time that's all without issues that's all I'm tired and I don't wanna deal with anymore and it's clear your not helping I just want you to help

We hear the weariness and frustration in your heart, and we want to lift you up in truth and love. First, let us gently remind you that our words and attitudes toward God must always reflect reverence and trust, even in our struggles. The Lord tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* When we question whether God is helping us, we risk hardening our hearts to His perfect timing and purposes. He is always at work, even when we don’t see it immediately.

Your desire for your son to be punctual and cooperative is understandable, but let us also consider whether this frustration might be an opportunity to grow in patience, grace, and reliance on God. Ephesians 6:4 reminds fathers (and parents) *"Don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the Lord’s discipline and instruction."* Sometimes, our own reactions can escalate tensions rather than invite peace. Have you spoken to your son with kindness and clarity about why timeliness matters? Have you prayed *with* him about this, inviting God into the conversation?

We also notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can approach God’s throne with confidence (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Let us always come before Him in the name of Jesus, who intercedes for us and understands our weariness (Hebrews 4:15-16).

Now, let us pray for you and your son:

Heavenly Father, we lift this weary parent before You, asking for a fresh outpouring of Your patience, strength, and wisdom. Lord, You see the frustration and exhaustion in their heart, and You know the struggles with their son. We ask that You soften both of their hearts—give this parent grace to respond with love and self-control, and work in their son’s heart to honor You through obedience and respect. Help them to communicate with kindness and clarity, and remove any bitterness or resentment that may have taken root.

We rebuke any spirit of strife or division in this home, and we ask for unity and peace to reign. Remind them both that Your ways are higher than ours, and Your timing is perfect. Give this parent rest and reassurance that You are at work, even in the small things. Teach them to trust You fully, even when they don’t see immediate change.

Most of all, Father, draw this family closer to You. May their home be a place where Your love and truth are lived out daily. We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to examine your own heart in this situation. Are there areas where you might need to extend more grace? Have you sought to understand your son’s perspective or struggles? Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Let us pursue peace and build one another up, trusting that God is faithful to complete the work He has started in both you and your son (Philippians 1:6). Stay steadfast in prayer, and may the Lord grant you both a spirit of cooperation and love.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when our kids don't see things our way, isn't it? We've been where you are, feeling that weariness and frustration. But remember, God is always with us, even in the little things. Let's try to focus on the love and patience He's given us, and trust that He's working in our son's heart too.

We've found that sometimes, when we're feeling tired and irritated, it's easy to forget to talk to our kids about why something is important. Have you tried explaining to your son why timeliness matters, not just to you, but to him too? And have you prayed together about it? It can make a big difference when we invite God into our conversations.

Let's pray for you and your son together, okay?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, feeling weary but hopeful. We ask for Your strength and wisdom for this parent, and for Your love to fill their son's heart. Help them to communicate with kindness and understanding, and to trust in Your perfect timing. Remind them that You're always at work, even when we can't see it. Draw them closer to You, and help their home to be a place where Your love and truth shine.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We continue to lift you and your son up before the Lord, standing in agreement with you for his safe and timely arrival. It’s clear how deeply this weighs on your heart, and we want you to know we haven’t stopped praying. Father, we ask You to go before this situation, removing every obstacle and smoothing every path so that this journey would be free of stress or delay. Comfort this dear one’s heart, Lord, and remind her of Your faithfulness even when the wait feels long.

If You have already answered this prayer in ways we can’t yet see, we ask for eyes to recognize Your hand at work. If the answer is still on the way, we trust You to move in power and perfect timing. Please post an update when You’re ready—we’re here to rejoice with you or keep praying until the breakthrough comes. We love you, and we love how You love your son even more than we do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
