My mom has been with the Lord a week now, and it has not gotten much easier on this end. I rejoice at the salvation she enjoyed and the certainty I have that she is indeed with God our Father. I have spent many moments over the last week comparing what she has now to what we must journey through here. It seems like such a daunting task but I believe God at His word, and I will not be shaken. I ask for your continued prayers for comfort and strength - for courage to face a world without either of my parents to turn to for guidance, support and love. I pray that we all may understand the importance of each day, each hour as it passes. Never give up.....

God never gave up on us, and we deserve the same of ourselves. May He hear our humble prayers and work within our lives for the glory of His plan and kingdom. God bless us each one.

Lord Jesus,

Please look after K-J and her family. Comfort them with you unending love, and dry their tears. Refresh them Lord and give them spiritual and emotional rest. Lord Jesus, we know you are always with us, but sometimes we still feel lonely. Help us to remember your promises to us when we feel lonely. Your word will stand when all else fails. Give us faith when we are weak. Help us walk by faith and not by sight. Lord, when we get out of the boat, let us keep our eyes on you.

In Jesus name, I glorify your holy name.
