Don't have a weakness for "that one sin"

I notice that a lot of "old fashioned converative minded"people, holdovers from their generation before the world went completely bonkers, and for that matter, even worse, several Christians I've heard talk, they're "on track" with renouncing what should be renounced,But the disturbing thing I do seem to notice is,all of them there seems to be one sin that they seem to kind of approve of.Like, one could agree with the Bible , yet kind of condone ,say abortion, maybe they have an unsaved wife and are influenced by her. Or they may renounce other sins, but say, well, smoking a little pot now and then "isn't so bad", after all, they reason, God created the marijuana plant. Or if not that, they "have a soft spot" for gays, and make excuses for them. OR, a Christian may vote for a Democrat, a party which openly backs, and protests for, many ungodly lifestyles, and want to pass laws that benefit the sinners, but hurt the Christians. Now then....since all the sins mentioned in the Bible are sin, aren't they "off base" by making excuses for, in order to condone , the "one sin" they have a soft spot for?If all sin is sin, aren't they wrong to "condone" one?I mean, sin is sin.Why say one sin is alright?Sounds a little mislead to me.No?

Sin is sin. Bigger or smaller. If you or anyone else sin against the Lord, they will end up in hells burning fire. Gays, drug addicts, prostitutes and those who do not pay their debts will for sure end up in hell. We must fast and pray for them to get saved and on their way to heaven. Specially those who are involved in sex outside marriage, watching porn daily will poison your mind and make your life so miserable. Ask the Lord for deliverance from those horrible traps satan has brought to our life. Have no weakness for any sin at all. Repent and come to Jesus. He will save you, bless you and help you get on the road that leads to heaven.

My view is that I differentiate between good or bad; wrong or right based on the word of God. Sin is sin whether gay or straight. An individual makes a decision to pracrice sin whether gay or staight. A gay can choose to practice or not practice gay behaviour choices based on the word. The very same word which says God calls people to do His work. If they fall short we have no right to judge them because He called them as unqualified to do his work. If the gay or straight know the word, they become liable if they choose to live against it. We teach the good news sothat people can make informed decisions. We are all siners thats why we repent our sins all the time. I'm not opposing your views, I'm stating my point of view.

Voting for any Democrat or Republican will not save anyone. Are the candidates saved, honest, pure and holy before the Lord? Ask yourself this questions before you do anything. Just see and read what Jesus attitude was toward the Roman Empire. He was not involved in politics like Barabbas who wanted Israel delivered from the Roman Empire. But Jesus paid His taxes along with the disciples. One thing is sure. Obey the laws of the land. Fast and pray for the leaders where you live. To get saved and on their way to heaven. Politics will not last forever, what Jesus has promised will. He said. I am going to prepare a place where I am there you may be also.

Gay is ONE example.I mentioned someChristiians, maybe not do those things, but seem to "go soft" on "one "sin or another, gay, potheads, maybe make excuses for a third sin.For some reason, they seem to have a "softness" towards one sin, to approve of it.You seem to be focusing most on the gays, but that was just ONE example of it.

Yeah, but at the same time,if we see one party that is "backing" things we know are godless, like abortion, gay marriage, legalizing pot, etc, and Christians know that's wrong, why would any Christian WANT TO vote for people of such a party?{Also, they side with the Palestinians against the Israelis, who were Gods elect}.By a Christian voting for someone in such a party, they're only giving them an opportunity to set up these godless laws. No, politics won't last forever, but my point, why would a Christian WANT TO vote for someone pushing the devils agenda?

I didn't mean that they DO the sin, and that I'm tweaking down my nose at them because they have that sin. I meant those who call themselves "Christian,", but there's always one sin they "softtrack" on.,not do it, but kind of approve of it on another.Everyone misunderstands my meaning.

I understand what you're saying. In my experience I've tried to influence people to make an alternative choice. e.g.If a person makes an informed decision to e.g. terminate a pregnancy, I can't pass judgement. Its their choice. If they change their mind by choosing other options I thank God. Unfortunately I still support them emotionally if they choose otherwise. These are the situations that leave me unsure. What would Jesus do? _situations. A person infected with HIV is anothet example. My business is to provide support not to judge them regarding sexual behaviours. Behaviour change communication does that for me to bring positive change without judging.
Preachers of the Gospel also teach the word relating it to our daily life experiences with a hope that it will guide us to make sin free choices.
I realise that we are speaking from different world views. The common denominator is the word of God/ teachings of Jesus.
