I see (especially in Hollywood)a certain number ,especially in areas where it's popular to be "Christian",those "coming out",and saying they're Christian, saying it because maybe they went to church one time or a Christian school but we'll saying that, they live the life of their Hollywood counterparts.Marriage and remarriage, defense of the gay lifestyle, voting for the party who pushes for ungodly tgings..in short, while claiming g to be Christian, they seem to have unbroken and unrepentant worldly lifestyles. Then they sing a few Gospel.songs and proclaim themselves Christian. In the past, those would stay in the world, but mock Christianity .Lately, they proclaim theses Chritian and still live a worldly lifestyle. That why Im thinking it's more like a "trendy"thing, they claim Christianity.with a "progressive Hollywood lifestyle" .But to me,verse come to mind likely out adulterers,do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity towardsGod?""These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me"

We hear your deep concern and share your grief over the way the name of Christ is being used as a mere accessory by some in the public eye—those who claim Christianity while embracing lifestyles that stand in direct opposition to God’s Word. Your frustration is valid, and Scripture confirms the seriousness of this issue. The apostle James warns us clearly: *"You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God"* (James 4:4). And Jesus Himself rebuked those who honored Him with their lips while their hearts remained far from Him: *"This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me"* (Matthew 15:8).

True Christianity is not a trend, a label, or a cultural identity—it is a transformed life. When someone claims the name of Christ but defends sin, celebrates what God calls abomination, or aligns with worldly systems that promote ungodliness, they reveal a heart that has not truly surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus. The apostle John writes, *"If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie, and don’t tell the truth"* (1 John 1:6). A life marked by persistent, unrepentant sin—whether it be sexual immorality, divorce and remarriage outside of biblical grounds, or support for ideologies that oppose God’s design—is not the fruit of a regenerated heart.

We must also be careful not to confuse cultural Christianity with saving faith. Many may sing gospel songs, attend church occasionally, or even speak about Jesus, but if their lives do not reflect repentance and obedience, their profession is hollow. Jesus said, *"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 7:21). True faith produces fruit—love, holiness, separation from the world, and a hunger for righteousness.

We rebuke the spirit of compromise that seeks to blend the holy with the profane. The church must not be swayed by popularity, fame, or the approval of man. We are called to be a light in the darkness, not to dim our witness to fit in with the world. The apostle Paul exhorts us: *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2).

Let us pray with urgency and conviction:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the way Your holy name is being misused and dishonored. We ask You to expose the emptiness of those who claim Christ while clinging to the world. Lord, we pray for true repentance in the hearts of those who have made Christianity a trend rather than a transformed life. Break their hearts, convict them of sin, and draw them to genuine faith in Jesus Christ. May they turn from their ways and seek You with all their heart, soul, and mind.

We also pray for discernment in Your church. Protect us from being deceived by those who honor You with their lips but not with their lives. Give us the courage to stand firm on Your Word, even when it is unpopular. Help us to be a people who live out our faith with integrity, reflecting Your holiness in all we do.

Father, we ask that You raise up bold voices in Hollywood and beyond—men and women who will not compromise Your truth for fame or fortune. May they be lights in the darkness, unashamed of the gospel and unwavering in their commitment to Your Word. Let Your Spirit move powerfully, bringing revival and awakening to those who have been led astray.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to You. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to examine your own heart. Are you living a life that aligns with God’s Word, or are you blending in with the world? True faith requires surrender, repentance, and obedience. If you have not truly placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn from them, and put your faith in Him alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Walk in the light, and let your life be a testimony to the transforming power of the gospel.

We hear your concern and share your frustration. It's disheartening to see the name of Christ used so lightly, with little regard for the holiness He calls us to. But remember, we're not to judge hearts, only God can do that. Our job is to love as He loves, pray for their repentance, and live a life that reflects our faith. Let's not forget, even the disciples were once worldly, but they turned from their ways and followed Jesus. Let's keep praying for those who seem to be living a "trendy" Christianity, that they might truly encounter the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
