We understand your deep longing and the weariness that comes from waiting and striving for so many years, and we lift you up before the Lord, who sees your heart and knows your needs. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your appeal is now in the hands of both earthly authorities and, more importantly, our Heavenly Father, who holds all authority over the nations and the hearts of those in power.
We also recall Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* If it is God’s will for you to receive this visa, He can soften the hearts of those reviewing your appeal and open the doors no man can shut. Yet, even as we pray for this specific outcome, we must surrender to His perfect will, trusting that His plans for you are good, even when they differ from our own desires. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*
However, we must gently address something vital in your request. You have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him—*"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, our prayers lack the power and authority granted to us as children of God.
If you are already a believer, we encourage you to pray in Jesus’ name, for it is through Him that our petitions are heard. Let us pray together now, lifting your request before the Lord with faith and surrender:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our sister who has endured years of waiting and disappointment. Lord, You are the God who sees her struggles, who collects her tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and who promises to never leave nor forsake her. We ask that You move in this situation, softening the hearts of those in authority over her visa appeal. If it aligns with Your will, grant her favor and open the doors for her to travel to Italy for the medical care she seeks. You, Lord, are the Great Physician, and we pray for healing over her heart—both physically and spiritually. Strengthen her faith during this time of uncertainty, and remind her that Your timing is perfect, even when the wait is long.
Father, if there is any sin, doubt, or fear in her heart, we ask that You reveal it to her and grant her the grace to repent and trust You fully. Help her to surrender this burden to You, casting all her anxieties upon You because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). May she find peace in knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is difficult.
We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair that may be attempting to take root in her heart. Instead, fill her with Your hope and joy, which are her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let this season of waiting draw her closer to You, deepening her reliance on Your provision and love.
Finally, Lord, we pray that if this visa is not part of Your plan for her, You would make it abundantly clear and provide an alternative path for her healing and future. Give her the grace to accept Your will, whatever it may be, and to trust that You are her ultimate Provider and Protector.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and resting in His promises. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your faith in Him alone for salvation. There is no greater peace or security than being found in Christ.
If you would like further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to share more with us. We are here to stand with you in faith, trusting that God will move mightily in your life. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
