My prayer is for sheltered, fostered, lost and otherwise homeless dogs and cats. I pray that people become more responsible. I pray everyone spays and neuters their animals. I visited a shelter recently, and it's just incredible how many pets are in them. There are enough out there, we need to stop letting more be born into homelessness.

I am praying especially for one special little dog who touched my heart and life, if only for one day. He is with his new family, and I pray that he will be loved and cherished by them forever. God bless you, beautiful creatures.

I join in your call for people to be more responsible regarding pets. Both of our dogs have been rescued from shelters, and I truly believe they are phenomal pets because they somehow know they have been given a second chance. That's what God is all about...second chances. Why else would He have sent His own Son to die on a cross...Jesus was our second chance. I, too urge all people to value ALL life, human, canine, feline, whatever it may be, for it all comes from our Creator. Bless you for being a champion of their cause. Amen!
