Love your brothers and sisters in Christ because they are your own flesh and blood (having the blood of Jesus in their veins). And if you love your brothers and sisters, this means you love Father God to, because they are all (including you) the children of the same Father. The same family. So, this means, when somebody says that he loves God, and doesn't love brothers and sisters, he is practically deceiving himself. What does it mean to love someone? Don't be proudful that you are better than others, forgive as soon as you can, help, support, encourage; if you are cold and intellectual and all knowing and you distance yourself from others because you are too smart, this is not love. Only God knows everything. Be like a little child of a loving Father.
1 John 4:20
20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
We are the personification of God on this earth and the real test that you love God is, do you love and care for your brothers and sisters.... (Hating means here not only hating, but despising, not loving enough, being self sufficient, not caring enough, being selfish, etc.......). Pride is the most refined way that people go into when they defend or demonstrate their opinions (even when it's scriptural) so be careful not to argue about things too much. Because discussing and arguing is being in your mind, not in your spirit. Spirit knows everything, better than you, so surrender and listen to the Holy Spirit what He wants to say through you to someone. I know some brothers and sisters here in my place of living that always pray before they go into conversation with someone, I really find it wise. When you pray, you are being humble, you are submitting yourself to God and His will, not your own will, and your own emotions and your own wants, projects, etc... When you pray you are clothing yourself in Christ and in the spirit. (hopefully not praying soulish prayers....). I think the most challenging things for believers is to let the Lord Jesus be the Lord of your will. The will is pretty tricky, you can do a lot of damage doing things your way and in the flesh ...... God bless you all.....
