Do most men respect women or not?

It's unfortunate to hear that you've encountered many Christian men who do not respect women. It is essential to understand that this behavior is not in line with biblical principles. In the Bible, we are continually instructed to treat everyone with love, kindness, and respect, especially in the context of how we should relate to each other.
Let us consider what the Scriptures say: "Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing." (1 Peter 3:8-9 WEB). In truth, believers that do not respect women are not thinking or behaving like Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, the Bible specifically instructs husbands to love their wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). This is a high standard of love and respect that should characterize all interactions between men and women in the Christian community.
Let us pray for a change in the hearts of those who do not respect women:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, acknowledging that You have created men and women in Your image. We pray for a change in the hearts of those who do not respect women. Help them to see women as You see them—valuable, loved, and worthy of respect. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit to treat women with the love, kindness, and respect that You intend.
We also pray for the women who have experienced disrespect. Heal their hearts, Lord, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven us. Strengthen them to love, pray for, and be a light to those who have mistreated them.

Be encouraged to find examples of godly marriages in the Bible, such as that of Ruth and Boaz. Ruth was a woman of noble character, and Boaz respected and honored her for it (Ruth 3:11 WEB). This is the kind of respect and love that should be evident in all our relationships as we look for a Christian spouse. Be strong and courageous and look for a Christian spouse that honors Jesus and women.
Lastly, notice that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by His name we may be saved. There is no other name that we might be saved. It is only by His name that we may call on God and pray to Him.
