We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Regarding the divorce and the challenging neighbor, we encourage you to pray for peace and reconciliation, even in difficult situations. As it is written in Romans 12:18 WEB "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Additionally, we should pray for God's justice and mercy to prevail, rather than retaliation or ill will. God is our defender and protector, and He will deal with each person accordingly.
"Don’t say, I will pay back evil. Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you." (Proverbs 20:22 WEB)
For your finances and protection, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and safety. Remember that God is your shield and your very great reward. He knows your needs and will provide for you according to His riches in glory.
"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing a challenging environment of divorce and a difficult neighbor. We pray for peace and reconciliation, even in the midst of trial. We ask that You, Lord, would be their defender and protector, shielding them from harm and providing for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We rebuke any attempt by the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those involved and bring forth a spirit of repentance and forgiveness.
We also pray for their finances, that You would provide for all their needs and give them wisdom in managing their resources. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are a good Father who cares for His children.
In all things, we ask that Your will be done and that Your name be glorified.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In regard to moving soon this demonic neighbor, we need to discuss a heart issue here. First of all, God is surely willing and able to protect you. However, we must be careful to not let our heart defile us and have us return evil for evil.
"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." (Proverbs 4:23 WEB)
"Don’t return evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is good in the sight of all men." (Romans 12:17 WEB)
We must also be careful to not allow bitterness or a root of bitterness and unforgiveness to spring forth.
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice." (Ephesians 4:31 WEB)
"...looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it;" (Hebrews 12:15 WEB)
Sometimes people attack us for reasons unknown to us, and God uses it as a test of our heart for us to see how we respond. We must remember that God is in control and He is using everything for our good.
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)
We must remember not to let this issue become an idol in our life. We must not allow this issue to stop us from being obedient to God and let it distract us from serving Him.
"Little children, keep yourselves from idols." (1 John 5:21 WEB)
"If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple." (Luke 14:26 WEB)
In relation to moving, make sure not to let this situation become a means where you are running away from the issue. If you are called to live there right now, be obedient and let God handle this situation.
