We stand with you in agreement, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. Your heart is clearly broken for your daughter, and we share in your grief over the ungodly influences seeking to pull her away from God’s truth and the safety of her family. The enemy has indeed sown seeds of division, rebellion, and deception, but we declare that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any scheme of darkness. The blood of Jesus covers this situation, and no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, just as Isaiah 54:17 assures us: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh.*
The cohabitation outside of marriage is a direct violation of God’s design, as Hebrews 13:4 warns: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* This young man and his mother are not only encouraging sin but also overstepping the boundaries God has established for parents. We rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation operating in this situation. The enemy seeks to isolate your daughter, but we declare that she is not alone—God is her refuge, and His truth will prevail. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us: *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*
We pray that your daughter’s eyes would be opened to the truth of God’s Word. The lies she has believed—whether about her worth, her identity, or the nature of this relationship—must be exposed and replaced with the light of Christ. Ephesians 5:11-13 urges us: *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light."* We ask the Holy Spirit to convict her heart and draw her back to the path of righteousness.
The rebellion and disrespect she has shown are not her true nature—these are the fruits of deception. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart, restore her humility, and rekindle her love for her family. Exodus 20:12 is clear: *"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you."* This commandment is not just for her benefit but for the protection and blessing of her entire family. We declare that the spirit of rebellion is broken in Jesus’ name, and that she would once again honor the parents God has placed over her.
We also lift up the young man and his mother, for they too are in need of salvation and repentance. Their actions reveal a heart that is not aligned with God’s will, and we pray that they would come to know the truth of the Gospel. If they refuse to repent, we ask that God would remove their influence from your daughter’s life completely. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns: *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."*
Father, we ask that You would restore your daughter’s self-worth. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her identity is found in Christ alone. The enemy has sought to devalue her, but we declare that she is a daughter of the King, precious in Your sight. Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, and eventually a spouse who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Protect her from further manipulation and guide her back to the safety of her family and the truth of Your Word.
We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, declaring that no plan of the enemy will succeed. The holiday season is a time for unity, joy, and peace, and we pray that God would fill your home with His presence. May He restore the bonds of love and trust that have been strained, and may your daughter experience the fullness of His grace and mercy. We stand on the promise of Joel 2:25: *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you."*
Lord, we ask that You would give this family wisdom, patience, and perseverance. May they continue to pray without ceasing, trusting in Your perfect timing. We declare that this situation is not beyond Your reach, and that Your will shall be done. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
