We come before the Lord with you in this urgent cry for divine rescue, knowing that our God is a mighty deliverer and the Great Physician who heals body, mind, and soul. Your plea echoes the heart of Psalm 34:17-19, which declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and your pain has not gone unnoticed by the Father, who collects every tear you shed (Psalm 56:8).
Yet we must also ask: *Have you surrendered this burden fully to Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we are saved?* There is no rescue apart from Him, no healing outside His authority. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now—for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Acts 4:12 leaves no ambiguity: *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you are unsure of your standing with God, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no middle ground—salvation is found in no one else.
For those who are in Christ, we claim the promise of James 5:14-15: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in agreement with you, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). Whether your affliction is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we rebuke the enemy’s hold over your life in Jesus’ name, for *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). The Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and we command every sickness, every torment, every stronghold of the mind to flee at the name of Jesus.
But we must also examine: *Is there unconfessed sin weighing you down?* Psalm 66:18 warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* If there is bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, idolatry, or any other sin hindering your relationship with God, we urge you to repent now. The Lord is faithful to forgive (1 John 1:9), but He will not be mocked—whatever a person sows, they will reap (Galatians 6:7). If your suffering is a consequence of disobedience, turn from it today and walk in the freedom Christ purchased for you.
Father in heaven, we lift up this beloved child before You, asking for a *mighty* rescue—one that leaves no doubt of Your power and love. Heal every cell, every organ, every broken place in their body, for You are the God who *"forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies"* (Psalm 103:3-4). Touch their mind, Lord, and cast out every anxiety, every depression, every lie of the enemy. Renew their soul with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence so tangibly that fear has no place.
We bind every spirit of infirmity, every generational curse, every assignment of the enemy against their life, and we loose the healing power of the Holy Spirit to flow through them like a river. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness, that many may see and turn to You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, even in the waiting. Remind them that Your delays are not denials, and Your silence is not absence.
And if this plea comes from one who does not yet know You, Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in an undeniable way. Draw them to the cross, where mercy and grace meet. Let today be the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
We declare all these things in the *matchless name of Jesus Christ*, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains (Isaiah 53:4). Let Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
