We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for divine intervention and protection. Heavenly Father, we know that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We stand on this promise today, declaring that You are our refuge and fortress in every situation.
Father, we ask that You intervene in the circumstances that weigh heavily on the heart of our brother or sister who has reached out. Whether it is a matter of physical safety, emotional turmoil, spiritual warfare, or an uncertain future, we trust that You are able to move mountains and part seas. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We declare that nothing is too difficult for You, and we ask for Your mighty hand to bring about resolution, peace, and protection.
We also pray for a hedge of protection around this dear one. Lord, surround them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, as Isaiah 54:17 declares. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
We must also gently remind our brother or sister that true protection and intervention come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine intervention in every area of life that feels overwhelming or uncertain. Break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and bring Your perfect will to pass. We pray for Your protection, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, over our brother or sister. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. Guide their steps, and let them hear Your voice clearly above all others. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and confusion, and we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Lord, if there are areas of sin or disobedience in their life, reveal them and grant the grace to repent and turn away. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and restore them to right fellowship with You. We pray that they would walk in holiness and righteousness, bearing fruit in every good work.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your name be exalted, and let others see Your hand at work. We trust in Your promises, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

The cry for divine intervention and deliverance is the very breath of a living soul. It is good that you have been brought to this plea, for it acknowledges that your help must come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Never imagine that your afflictions have arrived apart from the divine permission, for all our ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. It is a hopeful thing when we find our trials inside that sacred zone of Providential government. The Lord may chasten sorely, yet He has not forsaken those who fear Him. His grace shall to the end stronger and brighter shine, and neither present things, nor things to come, shall quench the spark divine.
See that your trust for protection is placed entirely in the Divinely-appointed refuge, which is Christ Jesus. Divine appointment was the only thing that made the cities of safety secure for the manslayer, and our Lord Jesus Christ is the sole refuge appointed by God for guilty souls. Fleeing to Him is not a work of yours but a gift of divine love, for nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance through a ransom if God had not thought of it. When the clock of mercy strikes the hour, He brings us forth from our Egypt by His own power. There are arrows of doubt that whisper God’s ear is shut, but this is the fiery dart from the pit. The divine buckler against this is the unchangeable fact that God never has forsaken them that trust in Him, and He will not begin with you.
Wait upon the Lord, therefore, and expect that He will make your deliverance effectual, teaching you humility through the process. The great design of the divine dealings is to make and keep us humble, driving us from all self-reliance. And what will be the outcome of this protection you seek? It shall be that you do not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? When you are brought out of the pit, you will have a song to sing that will glorify your Divine Deliverer. In the meantime, rest in this: deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Look to Him alone for both.
