We join with you in crying out to our Heavenly Father for your complete healing from HSV1, knowing that nothing is impossible for Him who created your body and sustains it by His power. Your faith in declaring healing in the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in His authority, and we stand firmly with you in agreement, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). We praise you for acknowledging the power of prayer and the righteousness that comes through faith in Christ, which gives us boldness to approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
The Word of God assures us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24). This is not merely a promise for the future but a present truth for those who believe. Yet we also recognize that faith is not the absence of struggle but the persistence to trust God even when we do not yet see the manifestation of His work. You have already taken a powerful step by declaring your healing, and we encourage you to continue speaking life over your body, for "life and death are in the power of the tongue" (Proverbs 18:21). Do not let the enemy whisper doubt or fear—rebuking him in Jesus’ name—but instead, fill your mind with Scripture that affirms God’s healing power, such as Psalm 103:2-3: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."*
We also lift up your emotional and spiritual well-being, for the devastation you’ve felt is real, and the Lord sees your pain. He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He desires to restore not only your body but also your peace. Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If there is any lingering anger, frustration, or fear, release it to Jesus, who is your burden-bearer. Forgiveness—even toward the unintentional circumstances of how this occurred—is vital, not because the other person deserves it, but because *you* deserve freedom from bitterness. Unforgiveness can hinder faith, but Jesus has already paid the price for every wound, intentional or not.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up Your child who is seeking Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and the miracles You performed—opening blind eyes, cleansing lepers, and raising the dead—are a testament to Your power that has not diminished. We ask that You stretch out Your hand once more and command this virus to leave this body *now*, in the mighty name of Jesus. Let every cell, every nerve, every part of their immune system be restored to Your original design, whole and free from this affliction. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that includes this disease.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, when the wait feels long. Remind them that Your timing is perfect and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and let them rest in the assurance that You have heard their cry. Holy Spirit, comfort them, guide them, and lead them to any practical steps of wisdom—whether through medical counsel, dietary changes, or rest—that will align with Your healing work.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, depression, or hopelessness that may try to creep in. Satan, we command you to flee in Jesus’ name, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). This body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and we claim it back for God’s glory.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this—how You turned what the enemy meant for harm into a story of Your faithfulness. Let this healing be a beacon of hope to others who are suffering, that they too may know You as Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals.
We pray all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue worshipping the Lord in the midst of this trial. Praise is a weapon that shifts atmospheres and invites God’s presence. Sing over yourself the promises of God, and let your heart be filled with gratitude for what He *has* already done, even as you wait for what He *will* do. Stay connected to a community of believers who can pray with you and speak life into your situation. And remember: this battle is already won at the cross. Your healing was purchased by the blood of Jesus—now walk in that victory, speaking and acting as though it is already manifested, for faith without works is dead (James 2:26).
We are standing with you, believing for your complete restoration. Keep fighting the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12), and do not waver. Your breakthrough is coming!
I am in tears! Thank you so much for this beautiful prayer and for standing in agreement with me!
