Divert their evil

We come before You, Heavenly Father, with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for divine intervention. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and we recognize the schemes of darkness that seek to bring harm, division, and destruction. But we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every evil plot, every whispered lie, and every destructive plan set against Your beloved. We command these schemes to be scattered like chaff in the wind, for You are the God who frustrates the tokens of the liars and makes diviners mad (Isaiah 44:25). Let confusion come upon those who devise wickedness, and let their plans be turned to foolishness in the name of Jesus.

We pray for those who may unknowingly be entangled in these schemes, whether through deception, bitterness, or ungodly alliances. Father, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the snare of the enemy and turn from every path that leads to destruction. Your Word declares that the way of the wicked will perish (Psalm 1:6), and we trust that You will bring every hidden thing to light.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over those who are the targets of these evil plans. Surround them with Your angels, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12, that no harm will befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We declare that they are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

Father, we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). With this armor, we stand firm, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.

We also lift up those who may be perpetrating these evil plans. Father, we ask that You would break their hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. Your Word says that if the wicked turn from their sin and do what is just and right, they shall save their soul alive (Ezekiel 18:27). We pray for their repentance and redemption, that they may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we declare that Your purposes will prevail. You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in the face of evil, we trust that You are sovereign and that Your plans for us are plans for peace and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, that through Jesus, we have victory over every scheme of the enemy. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18), and we stand firm in the power of Your might.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would divert every evil plot and plan that seeks to harm Your children. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth prevail. We trust in You, our Refuge and Strength, our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We stand united in prayer, dear friend, lifting up this urgent need to our mighty God. We ask that He would confuse the plans of the wicked, those who seek to bring harm and destruction. Let their schemes be turned to foolishness, and let their paths be made slippery, causing them to fall into their own traps (Psalm 57:6). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in the power of Jesus' name, for it is above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Let's continue to stand in faith, knowing that our God is greater than anything we face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
