We understand that you're troubled by disturbing dreams, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. First, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.
In Phillipians 4:8 WEB, it is written, Finally brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
This would also mean that your dreams would be pure and lovely. If you are having disturbing dreams, they are not from God and must stop.
Disturbing dreams can have various sources, but as believers, we are instructed to take every thought captive to obey Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB. This includes our dream life as well.
It is written in James 4:7 WEB, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. If there are spiritual forces behind these dreams, we can resist and rebuke them in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is troubled by disturbing dreams. We pray that You would grant them peaceful nights and calm their mind and heart as they sleep. We rebuke any spiritual forces behind these dreams, commanding them to cease in Jesus' name. Lord, we ask that You would surround our brother/sister with Your angels, protecting them from any evil. Fill their minds with thoughts that are pure, lovely, just, and of good report, even in their sleep. Guide them to the root cause of these dreams and give them the wisdom and grace to address it. We also pray for a greater understanding of Your word and a stronger faith in Jesus Christ. We ask all this in Jesus Christ's name, according to Your will. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
