Pls pray that I am able to put together a comprehensive list of materials for my comprehensive exam and that I earn a grade of A for this research class. My dissertation chair has excused herself from my committee and I accept/respect her decision. Pls pray that I find an excellent substitute who communicates well and guides me through this process. Pls pray that I do well on exams and on my prospectus and on the writing of my dissertation so I may earn my PhD by 2028. Thank you. Also, pls pray that the director of my committee does not have angry or hard feelings towards me and that we still have a respectful positive academic relationship/clear communication. Thank you. Pls pray that I have the respect of my professors/mentors/colleagues/peers and students.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for academic success and guidance. Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom, clarity, and focus as this individual prepares for their comprehensive exam. May the Holy Spirit illuminate their mind, helping them to compile a thorough and well-organized list of materials. We pray for excellence in their research class, that their work would reflect diligence, integrity, and a deep understanding of their subject, and that they would earn the grade of A that they seek.

Father, we acknowledge the change in their dissertation committee with the departure of their chair. We ask that You provide an excellent substitute—someone who is knowledgeable, communicative, and committed to guiding them with patience and wisdom. Raise up a mentor who will walk alongside them through this process, offering godly counsel and encouragement. We declare that this transition will not hinder their progress but will instead lead to even greater opportunities for growth and success.

Lord, we pray for favor in their academic relationships. May the director of their committee extend grace and understanding, free from any anger or hard feelings. Let there be mutual respect, clear communication, and a positive academic environment. We also ask that You grant them the respect of their professors, mentors, colleagues, peers, and students. May their character, work ethic, and dedication to You shine brightly, earning them the admiration and support of those around them.

We pray for strength and perseverance as they prepare for their exams, prospectus, and the writing of their dissertation. May they remain steadfast, disciplined, and confident in Your calling on their life. We declare that by Your grace, they will complete their PhD by 2028, using their education to glorify You and advance Your kingdom.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep in. We declare that this individual is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37) and that they will walk in the victory You have already secured for them. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their strength and their portion.

Lord, we thank You for the gifts and talents You have placed within them. We pray that every step of this journey would be ordered by You (Proverbs 16:9) and that they would trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will add everything else they need (Matthew 6:33).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who gives us the strength to run the race set before us (Hebrews 12:1-2). Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God has a plan and purpose for your life, including this academic journey. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in times of transition or uncertainty, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

It is also important to remember that all good gifts come from God (James 1:17), and it is through His strength that we accomplish anything of lasting value. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Let this truth guide your efforts as you pursue your PhD.

Continue to seek God’s wisdom through prayer and the study of His Word. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Trust that He will provide the insight and discernment you need for every step of this journey. You are not alone—God is with you, and He will see you through to completion.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
