Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join you in coming before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for beginning your prayer with the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We also thank you for your grateful heart, for remembering His presence, His fighting for you, and the sacrifice of the cross where His blood was shed for us sinners. It is only through that blood that we have access to God and the forgiveness we so desperately need.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear about this. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 and You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16. A false witness will not be unpunished. He who utters lies shall not escape. Proverbs 19:5. Dishonesty is not a small matter, it breaks fellowship with God who is Himself truth, and it harms our neighbor and corrupts justice.

We are encouraged by the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to your former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives, even while facing hardships from their dishonesty. This reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. Matthew 5:44. You are choosing to put away bitterness and to desire their restoration rather than their destruction, and that is pleasing to God. We agree with you that to continue in lying, a person must harden their conscience and break down resistance to dishonesty, and we join you in asking God to rebuild that holy resistance within them.

We pray together for them now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this former landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives to You. You see all things hidden and You have said, For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17. We ask that You convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see that lies only bring bondage and judgment, and lead them to repentance. Help them to turn from falsehood and to practice honesty in all their dealings. We pray that they would know the truth that sets free, for You have said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. May they experience the freedom and peace that comes only from walking in truth, and may they be spared the consequences that lying brings, not only in courts of man but before Your righteous judgment.

Father we also pray for those who submitted this request, that You would continue to be their defender and advocate. We ask that You guard their hearts from discouragement and from returning evil for evil, and that You establish justice according to Your perfect will. We pray that You would help them to continue to speak truth with love, for it is written, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25 and Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9. Strengthen them as they have dedicated their lives and surrendered their will to You. Let them rest in knowing that vengeance belongs to You and that You will repay with both justice and mercy. Romans 12:19.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in truth and prayer, trusting that God is both just and merciful. Continue to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and continue to pray for those who have wronged you that they may come to repentance and walk in honesty. Speak truth, live truth, and trust the One who is Truth to bring all things to light in His timing.

We thank God for your faithfulness in prayer and we stand with you, asking for His will to be done, for truth to prevail, and for all involved to be drawn closer to Him. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest and gracious prayer with us. We hear how deeply the dishonesty from your former landlord's team has cost you, and we are moved that your first response is not to ask for payback but to ask God to make them people of truth.

What you described, choosing patience and kindness when you had every reason to be bitter, is a real act of grace. We want you to know that it is also normal if that choice does not immediately take away the sting or the frustration. Deciding to release the desire for revenge and wanting good for those who harmed you is one thing, and the slower quieting of resentment and hurt in the heart is another. Both matter, and both can take time as you keep surrendering your will to the Lord as you prayed.

We are praying with you that you will be kept free and clear in your own walk of honesty as you wait on the Lord, and that you will have wisdom for any practical steps still before you.

Father, we lift this situation to You in Jesus name. We ask You to guard our friend's heart in peace and to keep them steady in truth. We ask You to work in the hearts of the landlord's team and their representatives, drawing them to honesty and to the freedom that truth brings. Lead each next step according to Your will. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer comes before the Lord with a right and reverent spirit, for you begin where all true prayer must begin, with Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life, and with the precious blood shed upon the Cross for sinners. We thank God with you for His presence, for His fighting for you in hardships, and for heavenly gifts bestowed not according to our merit but according to His mercy.

You have spoken truly that lies are serious crimes before the God of truth, and yet how blessed is the word which the Scripture gives us, There is forgiveness with Thee that Thou mayest be feared. This forgiveness is not of man but divine, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is complete and eternal, not a partial pardon but a full forgiveness, for Jesus Christ bore our punishment and God will never twice exact the penalty of one sin. If any man feels his indebtedness and his inability to discharge it, let him come and put his trust in Christ and the Lord promises oblivion to all his debt. There is forgiveness now, at this moment, for the chief of sinners, through Jesus Christ His Son alone.

We rejoice to see in your petition the grace of Christ formed in you, that though you have faced hardships you have been enabled to show patience and kindness to those who have opposed you, even to the former landlord and to those who represent him. This is to copy the pattern set before us, even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. He not only forgave us at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, and He keeps no back reckonings and retains no reserves of anger. So we who have received so much manifest forgiveness ought to find it natural to open our hands in forbearance toward others. It is a joint stock of mutual forgiveness in which members of Christ should take large shares.

Let us pray together for these souls who have walked in dishonesty. That they had to break down all resistance to dishonesty to continue in lying shows how conscience must be stifled before sin can reign, and how needful it is that God should build up again a tender conscience within them. We ask the Lord to open their eyes to the truth that shall make them free, for only the truth as it is in Jesus can set the captive free from the bondage of falsehood. May He grant them repentance, that they may turn from the way of lying and practice honesty, not merely to escape consequences but because they have come to fear and love the God with whom there is forgiveness. May they learn that forgiveness is to be obtained from God through Jesus Christ, and that He has promised it and given His Son to secure it.

We commend you also to continue in that surrender of your will to Him, resting not in your own steadfastness but in the completeness of His forgiveness and the power of His truth. He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and He will keep you in the way of honesty and peace.

We join our hearts with yours and pray, O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness, look in mercy upon all who have dealt falsely and upon Thy servants who have suffered thereby. Wash all who repent in the blood of Christ and grant them a new heart that loves truth. Keep Thy people in Thy truth, and let Thy forgiveness be their fear, their joy and their strength, for Jesus sake. Amen

Your prayer has been received with gratitude, and we join you in giving thanks to God. You have begun as Scripture teaches, with thanksgiving for His presence, for His fighting for you, and above all for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. Every prayer should be accompanied by thanksgiving, and you have done well to remember that Jesus alone is the way, the truth and the life.

You are right to see that lies are not small faults. Dishonesty is a heavy charge against the soul, and when it is joined with the desire for gain it brings great wretchedness, both in this life and before the judgment of God. Truth, when it finds an honest soul, easily masters it as light fills clear eyes, but when the heart resists truth it remains in darkness by its own fault.

We also give thanks that in the midst of hardships with your former landlord and with the lawyers and representatives involved, God has given you grace to show patience and kindness. This is to imitate God, who forgives us though we were His servants and enemies, and who makes His sun to rise on the good and the evil. You have chosen to forgive and to pray for those who have opposed you, rather than to curse or to seek repayment. That is the way of Christ, who calls us to be tender hearted and to forgive one another even as God in Christ forgave us. To pray for neighbors, even for those who have acted unjustly, draws us toward love and opens the door for them to be drawn toward faith.

We join you now in praying that God will build in these people a renewed resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. We ask that He will open their eyes to know that truth sets us free, and that He will lead them away from falsehood and its consequences and toward repentance and integrity. We pray that they will come to the knowledge of the truth, which is faith in Jesus Christ, and that they will learn that grace and truth came through Him to forgive sins and to make us new.

We pray that you will continue to walk in truth and in kindness, not riveted to worldly gain or to bitter words, but kept pure in speech and heart, as those who have touched the holy things of God. May the Lord keep you, strengthen you to surrender your will to Him daily, and guard you in His peace.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy shown at the Cross. We thank You for Your presence with this dear one in hardship. We ask You to work in the hearts of the former landlord and all involved in this legal matter, to turn them from every lie and dishonest practice, to teach them to love truth and to practice honesty. Bring them to see Jesus who is the truth, that they may be forgiven and set free. Give to Your child continued patience, kindness and forgiveness, and let Your will be done in this situation. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
