Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We hear your cry for justice and truth in the midst of dishonesty, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in those who are truthful (Proverbs 12:22). Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that separates us from God’s perfect will, for He is a God of truth and cannot tolerate deceit (Numbers 23:19). We rebuke every spirit of deception that has taken root in this situation, for Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his schemes must be exposed and dismantled in the name of Jesus Christ.

You rightly declare that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we must never forget that our prayers are heard because of His sacrifice on the cross. His blood was shed to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), including the sin of dishonesty. If there is any unconfessed deceit in your own heart, we encourage you to repent and walk in the light as He is in the light.

We pray for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this matter. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and convict them of their sin. Let them see the weight of their actions and the destruction that dishonesty brings, not only to others but to their own souls. Your Word declares that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray they would turn from their ways, seek forgiveness, and embrace the truth that sets them free (John 8:32). Build up their resistance to dishonesty, Lord, and let integrity guide their steps.

We also lift up your own heart in this battle. It is easy to grow weary when faced with injustice, but we are called to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). You have shown patience and kindness in the face of hardship, and we pray that the Lord would strengthen you to continue walking in love, even toward those who have wronged you. Do not let bitterness take root, for it defiles many (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, trust in the Lord’s justice, for He will repay (Romans 12:19). Vengeance belongs to Him alone, and He will not let the guilty go unpunished (Nahum 1:3).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You expose every lie and bring the truth to light. Let Your righteousness prevail in this situation, and let Your name be glorified. We surrender our will to You, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give us the wisdom to navigate this trial with grace, and let our lives be a testament to Your truth and faithfulness.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this matter, as it is in heaven. Amen.

What a gift to read your prayer, you’ve chosen to entrust this painful situation to God and even to pray blessing and truth over those who’ve wronged you. That takes real grace, and it’s a powerful picture of the patience and kindness you yourself have received from the Lord.

We know it’s not easy to keep showing that kindness when you’ve faced lies and serious wrongdoing. Yet here you are, asking God to build up their resistance to dishonesty rather than just calling down consequences. That’s the kind of heart Jesus delights in, and we believe he’s working in you through this.

One thing that has helped others in similar long conflicts is to privately write down what they are trusting God to do, not to send, but simply to release the burden and keep their own heart clear before him. You’ve already begun that in prayer. Maybe you could take it a step further: on days when the weight feels heavy, jot down one specific thing about the situation you’re handing over to God, and then thank him for holding it. It can anchor you when the legal process drags on or when the opposition’s dishonesty stings afresh.

We also join you in praying that truth will set everyone free. God sees all that has happened, and he is not mocked. Your willingness to surrender your will to him places you on solid ground, no matter how this unfolds.

Jesus, we lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and representatives. Soften their hearts, strengthen every honest impulse, and quietly dismantle the lies they’ve relied on. Protect our friend from cynicism and weariness, and fill them with your peace that makes no sense only to the world. Bring a just resolution that leaves no one with cause to deny your hand. We trust you with every detail. In your name, amen.

The great "if" lies not with God’s power, but with thine own faith. Thou comest asking the Lord to build up resistance to dishonesty in thine adversaries, but hast thou first searched thine own heart? The father cried, "If thou canst do anything," and the Master turned the "if" back upon him. So I ask thee: dost thou truly believe that the blood of Jesus cleanses even the lies that have been spoken against thee, and the secret faults that lurk in every human breast? Before thou prayest for the landlord’s team, see that no refuge of lies hides within thy own spirit. The hail will sweep away every false hope, whether it be a hope grounded in thy moral indignation, thy patience under hardship, or the thought that thou art in the right. Only the covering of Christ’s atonement can withstand the storm.

Pray for these that they may buy the truth, but know that truth is costly. They have sold themselves to dishonesty, but truth must be bought without money, yet at a great price, the surrender of all deceit. Thou speakest of the consequences of lying; aye, the refuges of lies are frail things. The glass roof of a false confidence is shattered by a single hailstone of God’s truth. Their story will not hang together; the naked truth will be unveiled, and the deeper the plot, the fouler the shame. Yet while thou seest their sin, plead for them not as one who stands above them, but as a fellow sinner who knows the terror of a heart-searching God. The same Lord who strips a man of his self-righteousness grants pardon and clothes his nakedness. That is the experimental truth they must know within.

The truth thou desirest for them is not a mere practice of honesty, but a Person. Jesus is the Truth, and truth never exerts such power as when it is embodied. He is transparent, Truth in public and private, in word and deed. Pray that the King of Truth would ride forth and conquer their hearts, for only the divine expiation in His precious blood can break down their resistance to honesty. Until they see Him who is the Way, they cannot walk in integrity. Until they trust the sacrifice of the Cross, their sins, whether the landlord’s or thine own, lie uncovered and accusing.

Therefore, let thine intercession be bold, but let it be mingled with fear. What if these very prayers become a barbed arrow of divine truth, sticking fast in their consciences? It may be the Lord’s way to bring them low that they might look to Christ. Only return to the good old way thyself; let no locust of bitterness eat up the green things within thy spirit. Trust God in this storm, banish the fear of man, and submit to His will. Then thy faith, genuine and tried, shall stand while the refuges of lies are swept away.
