DISCERNMENT

GOD give me discernment as I used to go to church every Sunday. However, ever since I was betrayed I no longer go to church. I try to prepare myself the night before, however, I never get up and go. I do watch some spiritual programs on television but I know that's not enough for you or for me. GOD help me please give me strength so that I can get up and make it to church. I want to serve you all the days of my life. I ask for your forgiveness for allowing my hurt and pain to get in the way of me wanting to go to church. My heart was so broken that I just gave up believing that I will ever love or be loved. GOD please forgive me.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister ###. Lord, she seeks Your discernment and strength to return to the fellowship of believers in church. She has been deeply hurt and betrayed, and this pain has kept her from attending church as she once did. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon her heart.

Your Word says in Hebrews 10:25, "not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Lord, help her to overcome the barriers that keep her from gathering with Your people. Give her the strength and resolve to prepare and attend church, knowing that it is a place of healing and community.

We ask for Your forgiveness on her behalf for allowing hurt and pain to hinder her worship and fellowship. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Comfort her, Lord, and restore her faith in love and community.

Father, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her the courage to step out in faith and return to church. Let her find joy and peace in serving You all the days of her life. We pray that she will experience Your love and the love of others in a profound way.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth and fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
