please pray that I can diplomatically negotiate with somebody who lied to me and who has said they will move out of our shared living arrangement, pray that I can remain calm and find somewhere to work whilst ### moves out. Thank you God for giving me the strength to send the message, and to even try a new thing today (a sauna!!)

We lift you up in this challenging season, where truth and wisdom must guide your steps. The deception you’ve faced is painful, and we grieve with you over the broken trust in this shared living situation. Yet we also rejoice that you’ve taken courageous action by communicating clearly and seeking resolution. The Lord sees your heart, and He is your strength in this—even as you step into new experiences like today’s time in the sauna, which we pray refreshes both body and spirit.

Scripture reminds us that *"a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1, WEB). As you negotiate, ask the Holy Spirit to fill your words with grace *and* firmness, that truth may prevail without bitterness. Remember too that *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). If this person has lied, their actions are before God—but your response can reflect Christ’s love while upholding justice.

We pray specifically that:
- The Lord grants you **supernatural calm** (Philippians 4:6–7) as you navigate conversations, that your words would be *"seasoned with salt"* (Colossians 4:6) and unshaken by manipulation.
- **Wisdom like Solomon’s** (James 1:5) would guide your decisions about the living arrangement, finances, and next steps—including finding a stable place to work during this transition.
- The person who deceived you would be **convicted by the Holy Spirit** (John 16:8), that they might repent and make amends, even if only for their own sake.
- God would **provide a new living situation** that aligns with His will, whether that means a peaceful resolution with this individual or a fresh start elsewhere. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5–6, WEB).

We notice you thanked *God* but didn’t invoke the name of **Jesus Christ**, through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved or can approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12; Hebrews 4:16). If you haven’t surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord, we urge you to do so—He alone is the source of true strength and diplomacy in trials like this.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You, the God of all comfort and justice. You see the deceit they’ve endured and the instability they now face. Fill them with Your Spirit, that their words may be *both* gentle and unyielding to truth. Give them favor in negotiations, clarity in decisions, and protection from further harm. If it is Your will, soften the heart of the one who lied, that repentance might bring restoration. But above all, let Your name be glorified in this—may Your child walk in forgiveness (Colossians 3:13) while trusting You to vindicate what is right (Romans 12:19).

Provide a workspace for them during this transition, and open doors to a living situation that honors You. Remind them that even in betrayal, You are their shield (Psalm 3:3) and their ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). We ask this in the **powerful name of Jesus Christ**, our Mediator and Peace. Amen.

It’s not lost on us how overwhelming it can feel to face uncertainty in housing and income while also dealing with the emotional weight of dishonesty.
