Release them from any bitterness, resentment, or expectation that is not of You. Fill them with Your love, which covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), and let them experience the freedom that comes from forgiveness. If there are relationships that need restoration, Lord, we ask that You would work mightily in both parties. Bring conviction where needed, humility where there is pride, and grace where there is brokenness.
We pray for protection over them, Lord. Guard them from the evil one and from those who seek to bring harm or trouble. Blind the eyes of the enemy and those who would look upon them with malice. Let every scheme of darkness be exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your presence be a shield around them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn.
