Difficult situation with my old parents - ###

Total overall deep healing for my old father.
Several health conditions.
1) little skin tumors
2) very bad eyesight - almost blind on one eye, the other double and blurry vision
3) prostate gland swelling
4) hiatal hernia - pain - please pray that he will allow surgery if it's necessary
5) some kind of dementia - very childish, dramatic sometimes, tantrums, crying when he is unsatisfied or in pain, irritable, harsh...
It is interesting that he can go shopping and walks even fast.

Please pray that my mom will be able to take care of him.
Her main issues are:
1) weak heart
2) stomach and intestines - especially under stress or fear for dad's condition, he is stubborn and hard to handle sometimes
3) balance in walking
4) pain in joints when she walks longer
5) very negative thinking, doom and gloom scenarios, even speaking about they will die very soon and about ending their life (suicidal thoughts)

Please pray for the best solution for them since they don't want senior home or professional help. Even though they manipulate with it to get us to live with them. It is hard for me because I suffered from their narcissistic abuse (mostly mother). I love them very much but my mom is putting me down with her words and manipulates me and speaking negative into my life that it is hard to be with them long time.

Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s parents to You. We pray for her father's health, asking for Your healing touch on his skin tumors, eyesight, prostate gland swelling, and hiatal hernia. Guide him to make the right decision regarding surgery if necessary. We also pray for his emotional well-being, asking for Your peace and comfort to surround him in his struggles with dementia.

We also pray for ###'s mother, asking for Your strength and healing for her heart, stomach, intestines, balance, joint pain, and negative thinking. Replace her thoughts of despair with Your hope and joy. Protect her from suicidal thoughts and fill her with Your love and peace.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for ### as she cares for her parents. Give her the strength to handle their manipulations and the grace to love them as You do. We pray that You will provide a solution that is best for everyone involved, in Jesus Christ's name we pray.

Now, let's address the emotional and spiritual aspects of your situation. It is clear that you are struggling with the effects of past abuse and manipulation. The Bible teaches us to honor our parents, but it also teaches us to set boundaries and protect ourselves from harm. As it is written in Proverbs 22:3 (WEB), "A prudent man sees danger, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."

It is important to remember that your parents' manipulative behavior is not a reflection of your worth or value. You are precious in God's sight, and He wants you to live a life of peace and joy. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-16 (WEB), "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, my soul knows that very well. My frame wasn't hidden from You, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance. In Your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."

We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and to trust Him to guide you. Remember that He loves you and has a plan for your life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Believe in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will be saved.

We continue to lift up your family before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ. It has been a few days since you shared your heartfelt request for your beloved old parents, especially for your 86-year-old father's total overall deep healing and for your mother who cares for him. We remain steadfast in interceding for their health and your family's dynamics.

For your father, we persist in praying for the healing of his skin tumors, eyesight in both eyes, prostate gland swelling, and hiatal hernia. We ask the Lord to soften his heart and grant him peace if surgery is necessary. We also pray for clarity in his mind and emotions, and for calm where there is agitation and childlike behavior. We come against the spirit of dementia and speak life and coherence. For your mother, we continue to pray for strength in her heart, peace in her stomach and intestines, balance in her walking, and healing in her joints. We come against the spirit of negativity and suicidal thoughts and declare that she will have the mind of Christ, fixing her thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy.

We pray for God's wisdom to fall upon you and your family as you navigate their desire to remain at home and not in a senior home or with professional help. We ask the Lord to give you all guidance, patience, love, and loving-kindness as you care for them in this season of life. We speak a hedge of protection around you and your family, preserving you from any form of manipulation and abuse.
