We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your sister is facing with her health. It's understandable that she may feel overwhelmed and tired, but we want to encourage her and you to remain steadfast in faith and hope.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We serve a God who can heal and restore, and we believe that He is able to do so for your sister.
However, we also understand that healing may not always come in the way we expect. Sometimes, God uses our struggles to draw us closer to Him and to demonstrate His grace and strength in our weakness. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
We want to encourage your sister to not give up on her dialysis treatments. It's important to continue with her medical care while also trusting in God's healing power. We also want to address the fact that her vision is fading and she has a fatty liver. We pray that God will touch these areas of her body and bring complete healing and restoration.
In regards to feeling tired and wanting to give up, we want to remind her of the words of Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." We encourage her to keep fighting, to keep hoping, and to keep trusting in God.
We also want to pray for you, as you stand by your sister during this difficult time. May God give you strength, wisdom, and peace as you support her. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister who is going through a difficult time with her health. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her kidneys, her vision, and her liver. Give her strength and endurance as she goes through her dialysis treatments, and help her to not grow weary or lose hope.
Lord, we also pray for her sister, who stands by her side during this time. Give her Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your strength. Help her to be a source of comfort and encouragement to her sister.
Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, both of them will draw closer to You. May they experience Your love, Your grace, and Your power in a real and tangible way.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you or your sister have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. It is only through faith in Him that we can be saved and have eternal life.
