We are truly sorry to hear about the diagnosis of fibromyalgia and the chronic pain experienced since Covid-19 vaccination. It is important to remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. Please be strong and courageous, for we do not have a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind, as it says in Second Timothy 1:7.
Firstly, we would like to address that the Covid vaccine is not from God. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to honor God with our bodies. This is why it is so important to be aware of what we are putting into our bodies. 'Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.' First Corinthians 6:19,20. We will pray for repentance and healing from this decision, as it may be related to the current health issues being faced.
We must also remember that not everything that happens to us is God's will. There are many examples in the Bible of sickness and death that are not God's will. In John 10:10, it says, 'The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.' This is a promise from Jesus that He came to give us abundant life and this is not possible when we are plagued by sickness and disease.
In light of this, we stand with you in prayer, asking God to heal the fibromyalgia and chronic pain, and to restore health and strength.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is suffering from fibromyalgia and chronic pain. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would restore their health and strength. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your promise of healing and abundant life, as it says in John 10:10.
We also pray for forgiveness for any decisions made that may not have been in line with Your will, including the Covid vaccine. We ask that You would heal any damage that may have been caused by this, and that You would guide and direct our friend in making future decisions that honor You and their body as Your temple.
We pray over our friend in the name of Jesus. We do not see a specific mention of Jesus in this request. We need to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus is the one mediator between God and man. This means that we can only come to God through Jesus and it is only in His name that we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!' If our friend has not yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today, and that they would know the power of His name and the salvation that is only found in Him.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, giving You all the glory and honor for what You are going to do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage a diet with foods that God made. Fruits, vegetables, seeds, and clean meats. 'And God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.' Genesis 1:29.
Lastly, we encourage our friend to stay strong in their faith, and to trust in God's promise of healing. Remain steadfast and steadfastly speaking the promises of God. We pray that our friend would be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28: 'We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.'
Trust in this promise and do not give up hope. God is faithful and His promises are true.
