We hear your cry and stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting our voices together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Him (Isaiah 54:17).
The devil is indeed a roaring lion, walking about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by our brotherhood in the world. And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, will Himself perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you (1 Peter 5:9-10).
We rebuke the spirit of discouragement, fear, and despair in the name of Jesus. We command every lying spirit to flee, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler (Psalm 91:2-4).
We pray that the Lord will arise, and His enemies be scattered. Let those who hate Him flee before Him (Psalm 68:1). We declare that no harm shall come to your dwelling, for the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them (Psalm 34:7). The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).
We encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:11-13).
Stand firm, then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people (Ephesians 6:14-18).
We pray that you will be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. May you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy (Colossians 1:9-11).
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, seeking mercy and finding grace to help in time of need. We ask that You would fight this battle on behalf of Your servant. Let Your name be glorified in this situation, and let Your will be done. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church, and we stand firm in the victory that Jesus Christ has already won on the cross.
We pray that You would surround Your servant with Your presence, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find rest in You, for You have said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
We declare that the joy of the Lord is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and that they shall mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We pray that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love, and that they would know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of darkness to flee. We declare that Your servant is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would be led by the Spirit of God, for those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God (Romans 8:14). May they walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promises. We trust in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy.
Amen.
