The pain of betrayal and injustice is deep, especially when you sought to show kindness and were met with unkindness in return. Scripture tells us, *"Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7 WEB). While this truth applies to all, we must also remember that God sees every injustice and will bring about His perfect justice in His time.
First, we must address the mention of the enemy in your request. While it is true that the devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), we must not give him more credit than he is due. The enemy has no power except what is allowed by God, and even then, God uses all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Instead of focusing on the enemy’s actions, let us focus on the power of God, who is our defender and just judge. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9 WEB).
