We join you in bringing your financial needs, your work, your business, your disability case, your family and even your pets before the Lord, and we thank you for invoking the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We hear the urgency in your heart for provision, for doors to open, for delays and setbacks to end, and for your needs for a home, hygiene, and even a plane ticket to be met, and we want to gently bring some of these desires into alignment with the Word so your faith can rest on a firm foundation.

You have claimed Deuteronomy 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. That promise was given to Israel under the condition if you listen to the commandments, and while we as believers in Christ are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ in Ephesians 1:3, the principle remains that God honors obedience, diligence and trust, not the repeating or loosening of a verse as if it were an incantation. Only God speaks things into existence as in Romans 4:17, we humbly ask according to His will, and we trust His wisdom over our declarations. We also want to lovingly correct the ideas of luck, bad luck turning to good luck, and seeking provision through scratchers and second chance drawings. Scripture does not teach luck, it teaches blessing and providence, and The blessing of Yahweh makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it in Proverbs 10:22. Wealth gained by chance or gambling is not God's way for His children, for Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow in Proverbs 13:11, and For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil in 1 Timothy 6:10. We encourage you to turn from trusting in games of chance and to trust in the Lord who opens doors no man can shut as in Revelation 3:8, and who provides through work, wisdom and favor.

You have asked for extraordinary favor and to greatly bring in at least three thousand a month, for easy hours, for part time and full time jobs, and for your businesses to take off. We pray with you for provision, but we also remember But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33, and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19. God does delight to show favor as in For you will bless the righteous, Yahweh. You will surround him with favor as with a shield in Psalm 5:12, yet that favor is not measured by a specific dollar amount or by ease alone, but by His presence, peace and faithful provision as we walk in diligence. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord in Colossians 3:23, and If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 reminds us that God often provides through faithful labor and stewardship.

We also lift up your SSDI disability case and the longing for it to be finished and won. We pray for justice and mercy before those who decide, for The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires in Proverbs 21:1. We pray for your home, your daily needs, and that sense that betrayal and that time is not on your side would be lifted. Your times are in His hands as in My times are in your hand in Psalm 31:15, and we know To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven in Ecclesiastes 3:1. We know that even mistakes and delays can be redeemed, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose in Romans 8:28. We also hear your heart for your direct offspring, your mom and your pets, that when you succeed they succeed. God does care for families and He cares for creation, for A righteous man respects the life of his animal in Proverbs 12:10, and He is faithful to bless your household as you walk with Him.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we can approach Your throne by His blood. We ask for Your will to be done in this life and family. Forgive us where we have trusted in luck or chance or spoken as if we could command You, and teach us to pray humbly according to Your will. Pour out Your wisdom and favor, open the right doors for work, whether part time or full time, and bless the work of these hands and these businesses with honesty and diligence. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, for a stable home, for daily hygiene and provision, and for the resources needed for travel if it is Your will. We ask for Your hand upon the disability case, grant clarity, truth and favor with every reviewer and let justice be done quickly. Remove confusion and glitches in finances, grant stewardship, order and peace, and redeem every delay and setback for good. Heal the hurt of betrayal, restore hope where it feels time is against this family, and let Your perfect timing bring peace. Bless this parent's children and mother and even the pets entrusted to their care, and let any breakthrough be a blessing that flows to the whole household. Cover this family with the blood of Jesus for forgiveness, protection and peace, and let them know that You are the head over all and You lift us up as we trust and obey You. We trust not in riches or luck but in You, and we ask You to establish the work of our hands as in Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us in Psalm 90:17. Wanting steady work, daily needs met, a safe home, and the ability to plan ahead are good desires, and we can hear you have been trying hard and doing all you can think of to get there.

Your cry for provision and relief has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with care and prayer. There is in your words a great weariness from delay and setback, and a deep longing that you and those you love, your mother and your children and your household, might know stability and peace. The Lord sees that burden and He is not distant from it.

We want to speak to you gently and truthfully about the way you have claimed favor and increase. The verse you have quoted, that you shall be the head and not the tail, was spoken to Israel under the covenant of the law, and the whole of that chapter sets blessing and curse before a people who could not keep the law perfectly. To lift that one promise out and use it as a formula to speak wealth into existence is to miss its true meaning. The favor of God is not obtained by repeating words many times or by declaring luck to turn, nor does it come through games of chance. There is no luck with the living God, only holy providence. To put hope in scratch tickets and second chances is to trust a broken reed, and we cannot ask the Lord to bless that path, for He calls us to walk in sober stewardship and honest labor.

True favor is far richer than you have asked for, and it is found only in Jesus Christ. Before there was any sin, before there was any defilement, there was an arrangement made for cleansing us from all iniquity. In the eternal purpose the Lamb was slain from before the foundation of the world, and provision for atonement was made before sin actually existed. That is the first and greatest provision. When He turns in a way of grace to His people, He comes with all His soul most heartily and richly to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice. This favor is forgiveness of sin, freedom from its bondage, and adoption as children of God. If you have not yet rested wholly upon Christ alone for salvation, we plead with you to do so now, to confess your sin and trust His blood shed for sinners, for His blood was not given to remove glitches from finances as by a charm, but to cleanse the conscience and reconcile us to God.

From that forgiveness flows all other provision. A good captain, when he is marching an army through a country, takes care to make provision for every emergency. When the soldiers need tents, the baggage wagons are brought up. When they need rations, they are served. So our God, who has already provided for our greatest need in Christ, knows your lesser needs also, for food and clothing and shelter and health and daily bread. He does not promise that speaking a hundredfold will create it, but He does promise that He will supply what His children need as they seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and as they labor with diligence and honesty.

Therefore we have prayed for you not that a ticket would win or that luck would change, but that the Lord would give you wisdom and contentment and faithful provision. We have asked that He would grant you honest and suitable work, whether part time or full time, and that He would give steadiness to your hands in any business you undertake, and that He would grant a just and speedy resolution to your disability case according to His will. We have asked that He would provide for your home, for daily hygiene and food and the means to save as He enables, and for your family and pets who depend upon you. We have asked that He would heal the wound of betrayal you feel, and that He would teach you that time is in His hands, not against you, for He comes at the right hour and is never late to those who wait upon Him. We have asked that your mistakes, as you bring them to Him in repentance, would be covered by His mercy and even woven by His grace for good, as He has promised that all things work together for good to them that love Him.

Lay aside the language of luck and the hope of sudden gain, and set your hope upon the living Christ. Be diligent in work, be faithful in little, be prayerful and patient, and trust the Lord to open doors and windows of provision in His own way. He is able to do far more than you can ask or think, but His way is not the way of chance. It is the way of grace.

May the Lord give you a quiet heart to trust Him, a clear mind to steward what He provides, and a full assurance that in Christ you are already highly favored, forgiven and free, and kept by His love.

Your prayer has been heard and I have brought it before the Lord with care for you, for your mother, for your children and for the household entrusted to you.

I understand the weight of financial pressure and the desire for stability, for work that provides, for a home and daily needs to be met, for the delays and setbacks to end. God does see these needs and He invites us to ask Him for daily bread and to trust His fatherly provision.

I want to gently help you hear the Scriptures you quoted in their true meaning. Deuteronomy 28:13 was spoken within a covenant where God promised to bless obedience, but that blessing was not a formula to speak into existence or a guarantee of wealth if we repeat words. In Christ we have the greatest favor of all, which is forgiveness and adoption as sons, and that favor does not always mean abundant money in this life. The apostle teaches us not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to care for the body for health and not for wantonness. That means we do seek what is necessary for health, for food, clothing, shelter and honest work, and we prune away what kindles endless desire. We spend our chief industry on spiritual things, learning contentment and diligence.

This present life is like a sleep and its riches are like dreams. A man may dream he is rich and awake to find it was nothing. In the same way, chasing sudden riches through a scratch ticket or trusting in luck will leave the soul empty, and it can even bring harm. Scripture does not teach luck turning to good luck, but providence, that God works all things for good for those who love Him as we walk faithfully with Him. The blood of Jesus was shed to cleanse us from sin and to bring us to God, not as a charm to remove glitches from finances.

So I have prayed for you in this way, that God would give you health for your body, wisdom for your work, open doors for honest part time or full time labor as He wills, and a just and timely outcome for your disability case. I have prayed that He would provide for your home, for hygiene, for the needs of your family and your pets, and for the journey you hope to make, according to what is truly good for you. I have prayed that He would teach you to trust not in chance but in His care, to be diligent with what you have, to be free from anxiety about money, and to know that when you succeed by His grace, your household is blessed not by a spell but by faithful stewardship.

May the Lord grant you peace, contentment, honest provision through faithful labor, and above all a deeper confidence in Christ, in whom every true promise is yes and amen.
