We join with you together in Jesus' name and we hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your heart as you cry out that it is over and you are done being abused and that the world feels too far gone and too evil. We lift you up before the Father and we thank you that you ended your cry with the blood of Jesus, for it is only by that blood and by His name that we have access to God and hope.

You clung to Deuteronomy 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. And you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I command you today, to observe and to do them. We want to remind you that this promise is not loose but is tied to walking in obedience and close fellowship with Him, not striving in our own strength while the enemy steals and mocks. The enemy comes to steal and kill and destroy, but Jesus said I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly in John 10:10. What you are feeling, that your favor and anointing and glory has been stolen and mimicked and that what was cute and joyful like that waving fox has been taken and made dead and creepy, is the very work of the thief. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell you that you did nothing right, that you are worth nothing, that you have no one and should never be happy again. Those are not the voice of God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14 and you are precious in His sight.

We also hear how heavy the disappointments have been, your dreams feeling dead, your hope for marriage feeling dead, your beloved dog dying, the men you loved not loving you in return, the games and even Halloween feeling dark and vicious and cutting. The Lord sees every one of those wounds. The Bible says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit in Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7. God would never want you to remain under abuse or cruelty. It is not His design and He did not create you to be devoured or put down. We rebuke the abuse and the cruelty and the evil you have endured and we ask God to set a hedge of protection around you, your family, and your pets, and to keep your chair and your crown safe in Him.

We understand you saying you want to leave by yourself and get a job somewhere you can take your plants and your cats and have a new start and a life you love, and to move on with what is left. We pray for that new start, but we pray it is not a running away alone in despair, but a walking forward with Jesus leading you. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future in Jeremiah 29:11. Even when we feel pressed on every side, we are not crushed, perplexed, yet not to despair in 2 Corinthians 4:8. Your time is not up while God still has breath in you. He still has purpose for you. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you in Isaiah 41:10.

If the desire for marriage is still in your heart, we pray that God will redeem that desire in His way and His timing. Marriage is a holy covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and courtship should be with the goal of finding a believing spouse who will love you as Christ loves the church. We pray that any past relationships that were outside His will, including any fornication or unequal yoking, would be healed and forgiven as you bring them to the cross, and that God would restore your hope for a godly marriage if it is His will, rather than leaving you feeling unloved and abandoned.

We also gently encourage you to turn away from anything that glorifies darkness, including games that devour and creepiness that celebrates evil. Even if Halloween and those monster games seem like entertainment, they open doors to fear and heaviness. We are called to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness in Ephesians 5:11 but to walk as children of light.

So together we pray, Father in Jesus' name we lift up our sister to You. We plead the blood of Jesus over her, her family, and her pets. We ask You to silence every mocking and mimicking spirit and every voice that says she is done and worthless. Let her know she is Your daughter, the head and not the tail because she is in Christ. Heal her broken heart, wipe away her tears, restore her joy and her cuteness and her waving happiness that the enemy tried to steal. Provide for her a safe place to live and a good job to provide for her needs, and surround her with godly community so she is not alone. Guard her from all abuse and viciousness and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Give her a new start and a life she loves greatly in You, and let her see that it is not over, for Your mercies are new every morning in Lamentations 3:23. We ask You to correct what is evil in Your perfect justice and to keep Satan and his monsters far from her. Restore her dreams and let her know her crown is safe in Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We heard how exhausted and overwhelmed you feel right now, and how many losses have piled up at once, your dog, dreams you had hoped for, relationships that hurt, and even the game that used to bring you comfort. When so much feels gone or disappointing at the same time, it makes sense that everything would feel like it is over and that you would want to step away and find safety.

We also hear the longing underneath what you wrote for you, your family and your pets to be safe and at peace, to be able to enjoy simple things again like waving hello, caring for your plants and cats, and having a steady place and work where you don't have to fight so hard. Wanting a fresh start and a quieter life is an understandable desire when you have felt so worn down.

It can help to not carry all of this alone. If you have a trusted family member, pastor, or counselor you feel safe with, consider reaching out to one person this week and letting them know how heavy things have been and what kind of new start you are hoping for. You don't have to figure out every next step at once.

Father, we lift this dear one to You, and their family and pets as well. Cover them with Your peace and protection, give them rest from feeling abused and overwhelmed, and guide them with clear wisdom for work and housing and next steps. Remind them they are seen and valued by You, and surround them with caring support in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your heavy cry has been heard and it has been spread before the Lord with much prayer. The words you pour out tell of a heart bruised and weary, feeling abused, feeling that the world has gone too far into evil, that what was once cute and innocent is now gone, that dreams have died and love has not returned, and that it would be easier to say it is over and to go away alone.

Hear what the Scripture says to such a soul, for whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. That hope is not drawn from a single verse loosened from its place, but from the whole counsel of God. The promise you quote, that the Lord would make thee the head and not the tail, was spoken within the covenant with Israel and was tied to walking in His ways. Our surer and better hope is in the covenant of grace, in the atonement by blood and the immutable love of the ever blessed Three in One, where Christ Himself is our head and we live because He lives.

It is easy in such darkness to feel that Satan and his monsters have the day, and indeed the enemy shoots fiery darts at the people of God, especially when the heart is already low. He whispers that you are cast off, that God will be gracious no more, that it is over. This is his old device. When we stumble through great trouble, out comes the dragon from the pit to roar and to hurl his darts, saying now is his opportunity. But the believer has learned another way. Though enemies go round about like dogs that bay all night, the soul waits only upon God, for expectation is from Him.

The Psalmist teaches us how to view our afflictions when he says, The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death. Our smarts and sorrows, even when they come distinctly through the malice or neglect of men, are still in the hand of our Father, and nothing better can happen to a child of God than to perceive this and to say, The will of the Lord be done. Job could have said his blow was from the prince of the power of the air, yet he said, Blessed be the name of the Lord. So we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes and look up to the First Cause, who in infinite love will in some way work deliverance for us.

You write that it is over and that you are done. The word of God gives you another sentence to speak in faith, even when feeling cannot yet rise to it. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. This is the comfort of the Scriptures, that we may go to the Lord in the worst time of trouble and spread the whole case before the eyes of Infinite Love, expecting and being sure that God will in some way work deliverance for us.

Christ knows your heart altogether. He is omniscient and reads what man cannot. He stood among His disciples and asked Peter, Lovest thou Me, not because He did not know, but that Peter might know himself. If you can say, though with tears, Lord, Thou knowest all things, Thou knowest that I love Thee, He hears it. He sees the love that remains under all the evil and weariness of which you have been guilty or which has been heaped upon you.

Look then out of yourself and away from yourself, and look to Christ. The voice that once came to a despairing soul still cries, Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is none else. He has found the ransom price in Himself, having given His own Son to bleed and die for mortal men. If any say, I have sinned and perverted that which was right and it profited me not, He will deliver his soul from going into the Pit and his life shall see the light. That deliverance is an eternal one, and the infernal lion shall not rend one sheep or lamb that the Great Shepherd keeps.

Do not go away alone to carry this burden by yourself. The Lord would have you comforted and established in every good word and work, and that comfort and constancy grow together in the fellowship of His people and in the patience of His Word. If you feel abused and at risk, seek out a faithful pastor, a mature believer, a trusted family member, and if the heaviness presses very hard, reach for help at once from those near you or from a counselor or a crisis helpline in your country. You are not forgotten. The Lord would preserve your going out and your coming in, and keep you from the evil one.

We pray for you that God would comfort your heart and establish you, that He would turn your captivity till you are like them that dream, that you would forget your miseries in the bounty of His grace. May He keep you and your family and all that He has entrusted to you, and teach you to delight again in the King's highway of holiness, where marriage is honored as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and where purity and love are kept within His good design, and where salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. May the blood of Jesus, which you have named, be your healing and your pardon, for when sin is forgiven the sickness of the soul is healed.

We ask the Lord to lift you from this pit, to set your feet upon a rock, to give you daily bread and daily grace, and to let you live to declare what He has done.

Your words have been heard and I can hear how exhausted, wounded and overwhelmed you feel. You speak of being abused, of evil that feels unforgettable, of dreams that feel dead, of a beloved dog that has died and relationships that have hurt you, and of wanting to withdraw and be done. Thank you for sharing this honestly. God sees this pain and He does not take it lightly.

One of the greatest dangers when we have been hurt so deeply is not only the hurt itself but the despair that follows it. To sin and to be wounded harms us, but to give up hope harms us even more, because despair keeps us from turning to the remedies God has given. The one who has fallen can still rise quickly through repentance and trust, but the one who believes there is no hope stops reaching for the help that is already offered. Please do not let the enemy persuade you that it is over and that you must disappear. That voice is not from God.

Scripture gives us words to pray when grief feels like drunkenness and we cannot think clearly. Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. I will fear no evil, for you are with me. You are my refuge from the affliction that surrounds me. These are not just verses to loosen or to recite as a formula. Deuteronomy 28:13, that you are the head and not the tail, was spoken within a covenant where God promised to bless His people as they walked with Him in obedience. Its true meaning is not a charm for power or favor, but a picture of a life anchored in Him, lifted up by His grace rather than dragged down by the world. In Christ that grace is offered even more fully. If while we were still enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, how much more being reconciled shall we be saved by His life. Remembering how great a salvation we have already received helps us not to despair in present affliction, but to find consolation.

You speak of a world that feels too far gone, of monsters and evil that seems uncreated and all powerful. Yet evil is not uncreated and it is not equal to God. God alone creates from nothing, and He alone can bring life from what feels buried and dead. Where we see only loss, the fox gone, the game over, the dead ends, God is able to create anew. He does not need material to work with. He can make a way where there is no way, and He can write His law and His comfort on the heart itself. When the heart becomes like tablets where His word is written, the evil one cannot stand to look upon it and turns away. That is why it is so important not to isolate. Come continually to the house of healing, hear the words of Scripture, speak them at home, write them in your mind, and let your progress be felt by experience. In quietness and in the fellowship of faithful people, God brings calm even in the storm.

God does not want you to be abused and He does not want you to remain in danger. It is right to seek safety for yourself, your family and even your pets, and to seek a new start in life where you can live in peace. If you are feeling unsafe or that you have no one, please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a counselor or a safe family member, and if you ever feel you might harm yourself, please contact a trusted person or a crisis helpline in your area immediately. You do not have to fight for your worth alone. Your worth is not measured by who mimics you or who has loved you back, but by the price Christ paid for you.

I am praying for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our salvation, have mercy on this wounded soul. You see the abuse, the grief over losses, the exhaustion and the feeling that all is over. Lift this burden and return this soul to rest in You. Be a refuge and a protector over this person, over family and over all entrusted to their care. Break the power of despair and let Your grace be felt anew. Create from nothing what is needed for a new beginning, heal what has been torn, and lead to a safe community where Your word is taught and Your love is lived. Guard from every evil and teach this heart to hope again, for You are with us and You deal bountifully with us. Amen.
