We stand together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we are saved. It is through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have authority over all the powers of darkness. As it is written in Colossians 2:15, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." The victory has already been won, and we stand in that victory today.
We recognize the reality of spiritual warfare and the schemes of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, standing firm against the devil’s schemes, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that every power of darkness must bow to the authority of Your Son. We bind every demonic spirit, including the one referred to as "foo leng leng" and its mother, in the mighty name of Jesus. We command these spirits to be cast out, bound, and rendered powerless, for it is written in Mark 16:17, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons." We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy to harm, deceive, or draw Your people away from Your light.
Lord Jesus, we ask that Your fire of justice and holiness consume every trace of these demonic influences. Let Your light expose and dispel all darkness, for You are the Light of the world (John 8:12), and in You, there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). We declare that the blood of Jesus has already defeated these spirits, and we stand on the promise that "the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). We erase every footprint of these demonic entities from the lives of Your children, and we command them to be cast into the abyss, never to return.
We pray for those who have been affected by these demonic influences, that they would find healing, restoration, and freedom in Christ. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, Lord, and may they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You break every chain of bondage and set the captives free, for it is written, "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).
Father, we also pray for discernment and wisdom for Your children, that they would not be ignorant of the devil’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). Strengthen them to resist the enemy, submitting themselves to You, and drawing near to You so that the enemy will flee (James 4:7). May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We declare that no demonic force can stand against the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. We take authority over every lying spirit, spirit of fear, spirit of deception, and every other assignment of the enemy. We command them to be silent and to leave in the name of Jesus. We cover ourselves and those we pray for with the blood of Jesus, and we declare that no harm shall come near us (Psalm 91:10).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ. We thank You that the enemy is already defeated, and we walk in the authority of Jesus’ name. We declare that Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
