We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, recognizing the spiritual oppression you are experiencing. The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The torment you describe is real, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, seeking the Lord’s deliverance and protection.
First, we must address the authority we have in Christ. Jesus has already disarmed these principalities and powers through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). We do not pray for their destruction in the sense of vengeance, for vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), but we do pray for their defeat and for your freedom. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every witch, demon, and coven that is tormenting you, commanding them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Praying at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication is essential in this battle (Ephesians 6:18).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We thank You that by His blood, we have been redeemed and set free from the power of darkness. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is being tormented by the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of witchcraft, every demon, and every coven to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We break every curse, hex, and spell that has been sent against them, and we declare them null and void by the power of the blood of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels for protection. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might so that they may stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. Restore their energy, their sleep, and their ability to worship You freely. We pray that they would draw near to You, and in doing so, the enemy would flee (James 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for those who are operating in witchcraft. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).
We thank You, Father, that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in Your power to deliver and protect. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, continually filling your heart and mind with the Word of God. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but the Lord is your strength. Attend church not in your own might, but in the strength that God provides, for He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won the victory. Stand firm in that truth.
