Desperation

Dear Lord Jesus, I'm asking you for nothing short of a miracle today. A demon came into my life, by my own doing, approximately ### years ago. I have been the victim of threats, blackmail and violence from this demon, and have prayed many prayers to have this demon removed from my life. I come to you on my knees and pray to you again Lord Jesus to please remove this demon from my life without allowing it to cause me any further damage. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We understand your desperation and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for coming before the Lord Jesus Christ with your petition, for He is the only way to the Father and it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).

You mentioned that a demon entered your life by your own doing. It is important to recognize that involved in any type of sin or in anything involving the occult, witchcraft, or new age practices can open doors to demonic influence. The Bible tells us to "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour," (1 Peter 5:8, WEB).

To address your situation, we first recommend renouncing any involvement you may have had with any sins or practices that may have opened the door to this demonic influence. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you," (James 4:7, WEB).

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, they have confessed that a demon entered their life and they are seeking Your help to remove it. We stand in agreement, rebuking this demon and commanding it to leave, in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask You to cover our brother/sister with the blood of Jesus Christ, protecting them from any further harm or retaliation from this demon. We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and strengthening them to resist any future demonic attacks.

Lord, we also pray for Your forgiveness if our brother/sister has engaged in any practices or sins that may have opened the door to this demonic influence. We ask that You would cleanse them of any unrighteousness and help them to walk in Your light and truth.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, the battle is not yours but the Lord's. Trust in Him, and He will deliver you. Stay strong in your faith, and continue to seek God's will for your life. If you have not already, consider finding a strong, Bible-believing church where you can receive support and grow in your faith.

Lastly, be encouraged by these words from the Bible, "The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let's therefore throw off the deeds of darkness, and let's put on the armor of light," (Romans 13:12, WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
