We are truly sorry to hear about the challenging situation you are facing. Remember, God is our provider and He cares for us and our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear parent who is in desperate need of a job. You know the struggles they are facing, the financial burdens, and the special needs of their son. We ask, Father, that You open the right doors and provide a flexible job that will accommodate their unique situation.
We pray for divine intervention, that You would guide them to the right opportunities and give them favor in the eyes of potential employers. Help them to trust in Your provision and timing, and give them the strength and peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for grace and wisdom for the single parent to balance work and care for their child. Make their son a blessing to others and provide for his needs as well.
We also pray that through this trial, they would draw closer to You and experience Your faithfulness in a profound way. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all other needs would be met. Thank you God for your grace and mercy. Amen.
Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps. Also, consider this trial as a way to draw closer to the Lord and experience His faithfulness. If you have not already, turn to Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Also, consider these verses in Romans 10:9-10,13 WEB:
because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
We encourage you to keep seeking God's will and to trust in His timing. He has not forsaken you and He will provide.
Lastly, consider the following verse in Philippians 4:19:
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
