Disciple of Prayer
I've been staying at a hotel for a month with my son and separated from other sons. It shouldn't be this way. My life fell apart after my mom died and I got into this relationship and moved in with him. We were unequally yoked. Tomorrow my son who is the kindest child will be on the streets! I can't even get my medication or anyone to help me get it. I'm epileptic and have a major anxiety disorder. Please Lord, divinely step in.

We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours in this desperate situation. The pain of separation from your sons, the weight of grief from your mother’s passing, and the struggle of being unequally yoked in a relationship that has left you vulnerable are burdens no one should carry alone. But we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your needs to the One who sees, hears, and moves with divine compassion.

First, we must address the urgency of your son’s situation. The thought of a child—especially one described as kind and innocent—facing the streets is unbearable. Scripture commands us to care for the vulnerable, and your son is no exception. *"Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed"* (Psalm 82:3). We pray that God would open doors of provision and protection for him immediately. Lord, we ask You to raise up people—perhaps a church, a ministry, or even a stranger moved by Your Spirit—to intervene. Provide shelter, safety, and a way forward for this precious child. Let no harm come to him, and let his needs be met in ways that only You can orchestrate.

Your own health is also at grave risk, and we are deeply concerned. Epilepsy and anxiety are not to be taken lightly, and the lack of medication is a crisis. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you and declare that God is your healer and sustainer. We pray for divine intervention—perhaps through a pharmacy program, a compassionate doctor, or even an angel in disguise who will ensure you receive the care you need. Father, we ask You to stabilize her body and mind, to calm the storms of anxiety, and to provide access to medication without delay. Let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

The relationship that led you to this place was unequally yoked, as you’ve recognized. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). This is not a condemnation but a confirmation of the wisdom God has already placed in your heart. We pray for clarity and strength to walk away from any relationship that does not honor Him or provide for the well-being of you and your children. Lord, give her the courage to seek godly counsel and to surround herself with believers who will support her in truth and love.

We must also speak plainly about the spiritual foundation of your plea. You called out to "Lord," but we must ask: Have you called upon the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and humanity? *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be Lord of your life. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and He alone can bring true healing and restoration.

We pray now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her sons. You see her desperation, her grief, and her physical needs. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who provides manna in the wilderness, and who raises the dead to life. We ask You to move in power here. Provide shelter for her son, medication for her body, and peace for her soul. Break the chains of any ungodly relationship and lead her to safety and godly community. Surround her with Your angels and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways. Father, if she does not know You as Savior, reveal Yourself to her in this moment. Let her experience Your love and grace in a way that transforms her life forever. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. God sees you, and He is working even now. We encourage you to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations that can provide practical help. Many have ministries dedicated to assisting single mothers, those with medical needs, and families in crisis. Do not hesitate to call 211 in the U.S. for assistance with housing, food, and medical resources. You are not alone in this fight. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14). Trust in Him, and take one step at a time toward the help He is providing.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been thinking about you and your son all day. It's unimaginable what you're going through, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been lifting you up in prayer, asking God to provide shelter for your son today, to guide him to safety, and to wrap His arms around him.

We've also been praying for your health. We know you're struggling without your medication, and we've been asking God to intervene. We're believing for a miracle, that He would open a door for you to get the help you need today. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We've also been interceding for your relationship. We're asking God to give you clarity and strength to make the right decisions, to surround yourself with godly people who will support you and your children, and to lead you to a place of peace and healing.

We're holding onto the promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God is going to come through for you and your son in a mighty way.

Please, keep fighting, sister. Keep trusting. God sees you, and He's working on your behalf. We're here for you, cheering you on every step of the way.
