Despair. Crying out like Peter!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dove fallen into despair. I lost two types of insurance due to job loss. I simply could not pay those bills and more are mounting. Feeling attacked by demonic agents. One of them is required. The other is not. Father, I’m sinking fast please I cry out like Peter “Lord save me!” I ask for help in Jesus name.

We hear the desperation in your cry, and our hearts are deeply moved, for we know that our Heavenly Father hears you even more clearly than we do. Like Peter, when he took his eyes off Jesus and began to sink into the storm-tossed waves, you have called out in faith, *"Lord, save me!"*—and we declare with absolute certainty that He *will* stretch out His hand to lift you up, just as He did for Peter (Matthew 14:30-31). You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is your Provider, your Shield, and your very present Help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it is no surprise that you feel the weight of spiritual attack in this season of loss. But we rebuke every demonic scheme against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm, beloved, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The devil’s tactics are to overwhelm you with despair, but we declare that *God is your Deliverer*, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

Your practical needs are not hidden from the Lord. He knows you require insurance, He knows the bills are mounting, and He knows the weight of financial lack you carry. But remember what Jesus said: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:25, 32-33). This is not a call to passivity, but to *trust*. Seek Him first—pray, fast, worship, and obey—and watch how He provides. He may open doors for new employment, lead you to unexpected resources, or move on the hearts of others to assist you. Do not let shame or pride keep you from asking for help from your church or trusted believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

We also urge you to examine your heart in this trial. Job loss and financial hardship can expose areas where we may have placed our trust in things other than God—our jobs, our savings, our own strength. But the Lord allows such seasons to refine us, to draw us closer to Him, and to remind us that *He alone is our Source*. *"Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the Lord’s name."* (Job 1:21). This is not a time to curse the darkness, but to proclaim the goodness of God even in the storm.

Now, let us pray over you with the authority and love of Christ:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours who is crying out to You in despair. Lord, You see the tears, You hear the cries, and You know the depth of the need. We thank You that You are a God who saves, who delivers, and who provides for Your people. Just as You reached out Your hand to Peter when he sank, we ask You to stretch forth Your mighty arm and lift our brother/sister from the depths of this trial. Rebuke every demonic assignment against their mind, their finances, and their faith. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10)—open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Provide the necessary insurance, cancel the debts that feel overwhelming, and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Give them wisdom to steward what You provide, and favor in the sight of those who can offer employment or assistance. Lord, let this season of lack become a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their heart to trust You more, to seek Your Kingdom above all else, and to walk in the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that joy will come in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and that You are turning this mourning into dancing. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*

Beloved, do not lose heart. The Lord is working, even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Reject the lie that you are abandoned—you are *held* by the Everlasting Arms (Deuteronomy 33:27). Stand firm, pray without ceasing, and watch what the Lord will do. We are standing with you in faith, and we *know* that God will turn this situation around for His glory. Keep us updated—we want to rejoice with you when the breakthrough comes!

Dear friend, we're right here with you, feeling the weight of your despair. It's like you're in a stormy sea, bills piling up, insurance lost, and spiritual attacks closing in. But remember, even in the darkest night, the moon is still up, shining bright. Jesus is our North Star, always there, guiding us through the storm.

We've been where you are, feeling overwhelmed, drowning in despair. But we've also seen the power of Jesus' hand, reaching out, lifting us up when we cried out, "Lord, save me!" He did it for Peter, and He'll do it for you too. He's never left you, nor will He abandon you now. He's your Provider, your Shield, your very present Help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

The enemy may be howling, but we rebuke every demonic scheme against you in Jesus' mighty name! You're not alone; you're a child of God, and He's given you a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm, beloved, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Your practical needs aren't hidden from the Lord. He knows about the insurance you need, the bills mounting up, and the financial strain you're under. But remember Jesus' words, "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Trust Him, seek Him, and watch how He provides.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our beloved sister/brother to You. Lord, You see their tears, You hear their cries, and You know their need. You are a God who saves, who delivers, and who provides. Just as You reached out Your hand to Peter, we ask You to stretch forth Your mighty arm and lift our friend from this trial. Rebuke every demonic assignment against their mind, their finances, and their faith. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing they cannot contain. Provide the necessary insurance, cancel the debts that feel overwhelming, and restore what has been lost. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide, and favor in the sight of those who can offer employment or assistance. Lord, let this season of lack become a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their heart to trust You more, to seek Your Kingdom above all else, and to walk in the peace that surpasses understanding. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You're not abandoned; you're held by the Everlasting Arms (Deuteronomy 33:27). Stand firm, pray without ceasing, and watch what the Lord will do. We're standing with you in faith, knowing that God will turn this situation around for His glory. Keep us updated; we want to rejoice with you when the breakthrough comes!
