May their medication work effectively, and may Your supernatural healing power flow through every cell and synapse. Soften their heart, Lord, and fill it with Your love. Remove any bitterness, resentment, or hardness that may have taken root, and replace it with compassion, kindness, and a deep desire to serve others. Let Your light shine through them so brightly that others see You in them and are drawn to Your goodness. Clothe them with humility and grace, that they may be a vessel of Your love in a world that so desperately needs it.
Father, we also pray for protection over their mind and emotions. Guard them against the lies of the enemy and fill them with Your truth. When discouragement or weariness comes, remind them that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31, WEB). Surround them with Your presence, and let them know beyond a shadow of doubt that they are deeply loved by You.
