Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with the desire to change my ways and be a better person. In Jesus Name I ask that you draw yourself closer to me, breaking every chain the devil has ahold on me. Create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit in me. Lord, please forgive me for how I've treated people. Please soften their hearts and give them forgiveness towards me. Touch my heart and soften it removing the hard heart from me. Bring me kindness, and love, into my heart. Touch my brain and improve my cognitive function. Revive anything in my brain that is damaged. Give me clarity and good decision making. Transform me into someone new. Remind me to treat others the way I want to be treated. In Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for transformation, and we rejoice that you have come before the Lord with humility and a desire to be made new. Your prayer is already aligned with Scripture, and we see the Holy Spirit at work in you, stirring this longing for holiness and renewal. The fact that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer is foundational, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the power to change. As the Scriptures declare, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). You have done well to approach the throne of grace in Jesus’ name, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He who began this good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Your request for a clean heart and a steadfast spirit echoes the cry of King David in Psalm 51:10: *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."* This is a prayer the Lord delights to answer, for He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them (1 John 1:9). The hardness of heart you mention is something we must all guard against, as Scripture warns us not to harden our hearts when we hear His voice (Hebrews 3:15). Instead, we are to be tender toward the Lord and toward others, bearing the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). These are the qualities that mark a life transformed by Christ, and we pray that they will flourish in you as you yield to the Holy Spirit’s work.

You have also asked for healing and renewal in your cognitive function, and we lift this need before the Lord with you. Our bodies and minds belong to Him, and He is the Great Physician who is able to restore and revive what has been damaged or weakened. The apostle Paul reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are to honor God with them. Whether this restoration comes through divine healing, wisdom in medical care, or renewed mental clarity, we trust that the Lord will provide according to His perfect will. We pray that your mind will be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you will be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9).

Your desire to treat others with kindness and love is a reflection of Christ’s commandment to *"love your neighbor as yourself"* (Mark 12:31). This is not merely a suggestion but a hallmark of those who follow Jesus. He told His disciples, *"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another"* (John 13:35). As you seek to walk in this love, remember that it is not something we can manufacture in our own strength. It is the love of God poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). When we abide in Christ, His love flows through us naturally. If there are specific relationships where you have caused harm or need to seek forgiveness, we encourage you to take steps of repentance and reconciliation where possible. The Lord honors humility, and He will go before you to soften hearts as you obey Him.

We also notice your prayer for the chains of the devil to be broken in your life. This is a critical and often overlooked aspect of spiritual growth. The enemy seeks to bind God’s people with lies, strongholds, and sinful patterns, but Jesus came to *"proclaim release to the captives... and to set at liberty those who are oppressed"* (Luke 4:18). If there are areas of bondage in your life—whether it be anger, bitterness, lust, fear, addiction, or anything else that contradicts the freedom Christ purchased for you—we declare in Jesus’ name that these chains are broken. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). Stand firm in the authority you have in Christ, and do not give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).

As we pray for you, we are reminded of the transformation that takes place when we surrender to Christ. The old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). This is not a one-time event but a daily process of dying to self and living for Him. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is *"living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword"* (Hebrews 4:12), able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Let Scripture renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and guide your steps. Additionally, surround yourself with believers who will encourage you, hold you accountable, and spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25). You are not meant to walk this journey alone.

Finally, we want to affirm your trust in the Lord. You have declared, *"Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you."* These words are the foundation of a life lived in dependence on God. He is your Provider, your Healer, your Redeemer, and your Strength. Even on days when you feel weak or stumble, His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Rest in the truth that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister, lifting up their heart’s cry for transformation and renewal. Lord, You see the sincerity of their desire to be made new, and we thank You that You are the God who delights in restoring and redeeming Your children. Father, we ask that You draw closer to them as they draw closer to You (James 4:8). Break every chain of the enemy that has held them bound—whether it be sin, fear, shame, or anything that hinders their walk with You. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom and victory over their life.

Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within them. Soften their heart toward You and toward others, that they may walk in love, kindness, and humility. Forgive them for any ways they have hurt others, and we ask that You would bring reconciliation and healing to those relationships where it is possible. May they extend the same grace to others that You have so lavishly extended to them.

Lord, we lift up their mind to You. You are the One who formed them in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know the intricate workings of their brain and body. We ask for healing and restoration where it is needed. Grant them clarity of thought, wisdom in decision-making, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Protect them from the lies of the enemy and fill them with Your truth.

Father, we pray that You would continue the good work You have begun in them. Transform them into the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ, day by day. Help them to treat others with the same love and respect they desire for themselves. May their life be a testimony of Your grace and power, drawing others to You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are the One who never leaves nor forsakes Your children (Deuteronomy 31:6). Strengthen them in their walk with You, and surround them with godly community that will encourage and support them. May they grow in the knowledge of Your will and walk worthy of You, fully pleasing in every good work, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of You (Colossians 1:10).

We declare all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.
