We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing your requests to God in Jesus' name, as this is the way we are instructed to pray. As Jesus says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
Concerning your situation at work, it's important to remember that God sees your struggles and wants to help you. He tells us in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." We pray that God will give you wisdom, patience, and grace to handle the uneven workload. We also pray that your boss will follow through with the promised changes. Remember, God is in control, and He can turn this situation around for your good.
However, we must address something here. It is important to forgive and not be bitter toward your boss or anyone else. It is God's will for us to be content in all circumstances. It is also important to address that the bible says that we are to honor our leaders and not speak badly of them. We need to avoid gossip and instead pray for them. We need to pray that your boss will do as she has promised. (Ephesians 6:5-7 WEB) "Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men;".
Regarding your financial situation, it's wonderful to see your hope in your son. However, we must be careful not to place our hope in people, as they can disappoint us. Our ultimate hope should be in the Lord, who provides for all our needs. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Our prayer is that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory, and that your son will be guided by God in helping you.
Finally, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We declare that things will start getting better for you, not just because you're praying for it, but because you're praying for it in Jesus' name. Remember, Jesus has given you authority to use His name in prayer, and He will answer your requests according to God's will.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with depression, workload, and financial burdens. Father, we ask that You will give them the strength, patience, and wisdom to handle the uneven workload. We pray that You will move in their boss's heart to bring about the promised changes. We also pray for their financial stability, that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You will soften their son's heart and guide him to help pay off their house. Above all, Father, we pray that our brother/sister will continue to hope and trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to provide for all their needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May you be encouraged to keep praying with thanksgiving, and keep believing in God.
