Depression

I'm falling into depression again and quickly losing hope. To make matters worse, my dad is just rubbing salt into the wound. Please pray my parents and I can have a good time at lunch together today. Please also pray that the things I'm fearing right now would never come to pass. Pray that God fills my life with His help, joy, provision, and hope. I'm trying my best to hold onto God's promises right now, but I need God's strength to continue hanging in there. Thanks for your prayers!

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalms 34:17).

Put you trust in the Lord. He is Faithful to His Word, I am praying for you.

Heavenly Father. Your word in Isaiah 55:9 says “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”  And in response to your word I say “I thank you for being above me and knowing what is best for me.” In this life, we are searching for our purpose and asking for Your will to be done in our lives, oh Lord.  

Dear Father, today we pray that not what we want but what we need will be done in our lives, in order to live a life fully invested in You. When fear attempts to consume us, please destroy it with your perfect love because we know that You cast out all fear. We also pray, that when we are tempted to turn back and ignore Your will oh Father, You chasten our spirits, and help us to see that You only want the best for us. Help us realize, that anything You bring into our lives is for our good.

We pray that You give us a spirit of acceptance and a heart open to Your move in our lives. Above all, let us always desire to be with You above all things. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
