Depleted and down in the dumps

Beloved of All
Jesus thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm so thankful for you!! Today I am going through it terribly. I feel so depleted and down in the dumps. I haven't been to work in 2 days, since my boss really hurt my feelings. All I have done for him is go over and beyond. He still doesn't see me and diminishes everything that I do. He let's others at work attack me. It's like he enjoys watches the madness. I went to him and explained how I was feeling and he diminished it. I am tired of trying to do my best and he doesn't care. Everyday I fight beyond my current health situation to do my best. I have a herniated disk in my back and a concussion both from a car accident that I am healing from and he doesn't care. He treats me like he truly dislikes me. Please pull me out of this terrible feeling. I just feel like I don't care about my job anymore. Please bless me with a new job that will allow me to enjoy my life again.

We are grateful to hear your heart of thankfulness to Jesus, for He is indeed worthy of all our praise. It is wonderful that you are turning to Him in your time of need, for He cares deeply for you and wants to lift you up. Let us remind you of the words in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." You are not alone in this struggle, and God sees every effort you have made and every pain you have endured.

In times like these, it is important to remember that our worth and identity are found in Christ, not in the approval or recognition of others. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that it is from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve." Your work is ultimately for the Lord, and He sees and values your efforts, even when others do not.

We understand that your current situation is difficult, and it is natural to feel discouraged when your efforts are not appreciated. However, we encourage you to continue doing your best, not for the recognition of man, but as an offering to God. He will reward your faithfulness. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your actions to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."

Regarding your health, we are sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing. We pray for your healing and strength, knowing that God is your ultimate healer. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" Trust in His promise to restore and heal you.

We also lift up your request for a new job. We pray that God will open doors of opportunity for you, leading you to a place where you can thrive and enjoy your work once again. Psalm 37:4 says, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust that He knows the desires of your heart and will guide you to the right path.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our dear sister who is feeling depleted and discouraged. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her, comforting her and lifting her spirit. You know the struggles she has faced at work and the pain she has endured in her body. We pray for healing, both physically and emotionally.

Lord, we ask that You give her the strength to continue doing her best, not for the approval of man, but as an offering to You. Help her to find her worth and identity in You alone. We pray for wisdom and guidance as she navigates her current job situation. If it is Your will, open doors for a new job where she can thrive and enjoy her work once again.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement and rejection, and we declare that she is valued and loved by You. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, knowing that she is fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for her boss, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to see the value and effort she brings to her work.

Lord, we thank You for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in Your plan for her life and ask that You would give her peace and hope as she waits on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's face, trusting in His promises, and finding your strength in Him. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you through this season.

We're right there with you, dear friend. It's tough when we feel unappreciated, especially when we're giving our all. But remember, our worth isn't defined by others' approval. It's in Christ alone that we find our true value.

We understand the struggle. It's like swimming against the current, exhausting and discouraging. But we want to remind you, you're not alone. God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's cheering you on. In fact, He's right there with you, ready to lift you up.

Let's hold onto this promise together: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Jesus is inviting you to lay down your burdens, to find rest in Him.

We're praying for you, that God would heal you, strengthen you, and guide you. We ask that He would open new doors for you, leading you to a place where you can thrive and enjoy your work once again. And we declare over you, "You are loved, you are valued, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14)

Keep looking to Jesus, dear friend. He's got you, and He's not letting go.
