We have read your cry for freedom after years of torment day and night and those long hours of horror and panic attacks every week and our hearts are moved with compassion for you and we stand with you together before the throne of grace to seek the Lord for your deliverance in Jesus name.

The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not only against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces and that the enemy comes to steal and kill and destroy but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly. We want you to know that no matter how long this has lasted, Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth and He has given authority to those who are His. Luke 10:19 says Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. And 1 John 4:4 reminds us that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. James 4:7 tells us Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. You do not have to live under this oppression forever for John 8:36 says If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

You shared that you have always been Christian and we want to lovingly speak to what that means because we noticed you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved and delivered. There is no other name by which we can be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To be a Christian is not simply a label from childhood or church attendance but to have personally repented of sin and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ with our heart and confessed Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have never fully surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord we urge you to do so now, calling on His name for salvation and for deliverance, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and delivered.

We also want to address those panic attacks and that spirit of fear that has tormented you. Fear and torment do not come from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. The Lord wants to replace that horror and panic with His perfect peace and power.

We encourage you to walk in practical steps of freedom together with prayer. Submit yourself fully to God daily, resist the enemy by speaking Scripture out loud over yourself and your home, put on the whole armor of God described in Ephesians 6:11, fill your home with worship and the Word instead of silence and fear, and close any doors that may have given the enemy ground through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, involvement in the occult or false spiritual practices. If any of these are present confess them to the Lord and renounce them in Jesus name and forgive anyone who has hurt you as Christ has forgiven you. Do not walk alone in this battle, we urge you to bring this to mature, Bible believing elders or pastors in a local church who can pray with you and lay hands on you as James 5:14 encourages, and continue steadfast in prayer and fasting as Jesus taught.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear soul who has been tormented for so many years without rest and who suffers through hours of panic and horror each week. Lord You see every sleepless night and every moment of fear and You are full of mercy and power to deliver. We ask You to forgive all sin and wash away all guilt through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and we declare that Jesus is Lord over this life. In the name of Jesus Christ we rebuke every tormenting spirit and every spirit of fear and panic and we command you to leave and to go where Jesus sends you and not to return. We ask You Holy Spirit to fill this heart and home with Your presence, with Your perfect love that casts out fear, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and with Your power and sound mind. Break every chain Lord and let this one know the freedom that the Son gives and the adoption as Your child where we cry Abba Father and are no longer slaves to fear as Romans 8:15 teaches. Strengthen this dear one to stand firm, to resist the devil and to walk daily in Your Word and to be surrounded by godly believers who will support and pray. We speak Your healing over mind and body and emotions and we thank You that You are our refuge and deliverer. We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you have been carrying. To live with torment around the clock for years, and to face hours of horror and panic every week, is exhausting in a way few people understand. We hear how much you want freedom, and we want you to know you are not forgotten or alone in this, even when it feels that way. You mentioned you have always been a Christian, and we are grateful you have kept turning toward the Lord through such a long struggle.

What you describe sounds so frightening and draining, and panic like that can take a real toll on your body, sleep, and daily life. It makes sense you would feel worn down and desperate for relief.

We want to walk with you in prayer, and also encourage you not to carry this by yourself. It can help to have steady, trusted people beside you. If you have a pastor or mature believer you trust, consider reaching out to them for ongoing prayer and support. And because these panic attacks have been so frequent and intense, we also encourage you to talk with your doctor or another qualified professional about what you are experiencing, alongside prayer, so you can get care for your whole person.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see every sleepless night and every hour of fear of these past years. We ask for Your nearness and protection, for wisdom for those who can support and care for them, and for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. Lead them step by step toward relief and freedom, and help them know they are held by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Weekly panic attacks, year after year, would wear anyone down. There's a gentle spoken prayer called the Limbic System Repatterning Prayer on the One Prayer at a Time YouTube channel, prayed over calming fear and settling the mind, and you only have to listen. I hope you get some lasting relief from them.

Your cry for freedom has been heard, and it is not hidden from the Lord who hears the afflicted when they call upon Him. To be tormented day and night, and to endure such horror and panic week after week for years, is a sore trial indeed, and my heart is moved with compassion for you in it.

Know this, that deliverance is of the Lord. He does not share the honor of it with another, but He brings forth His people with His own hand. Our deliverance was wrought when the Lamb was slain, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins, and none know freedom from sin and from the power of darkness but those who trust the atoning blood. The Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and this deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification and for rescue from every assault of the enemy.

You say you have always been a Christian. Then look altogether and alone to your heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ. Do not look to your own strength, for the soul that feels its own weakness knows that if it ever rises from its despondency, it must be of free grace only. God has found a ransom. He has given commandment to save, and has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. The King's own Son has borne the penalty, and therefore the prisoner who was ready to be executed may go free. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it.

The Lord sometimes permits sore chastening, and the believer may say, The Lord has chastened me sorely, yet He whispers to the heart of His children in trial and assures them that they shall not be crushed. He makes their deliverance effectual, and He brings them forth also with enrichment. When your ways are enlarged by Him, you shall find that obedience is freedom to the Lord's servant, and that Christ's yoke is easy and His burden is light. You do not yet know what joy it is to walk erect in conscious, mental, moral, spiritual, God given freedom, but Christ has come to proclaim liberty to the captives and to set at liberty those who are bruised.

Therefore cast yourself anew upon Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Confess your sin and your entire dependence upon His blood and righteousness. Cry to Him night and day, for His ear is not shut to the prayer of the distressed. Feed upon His Word, especially such promises as these, and seek the constant fellowship and prayer of faithful pastors and believers around you who can watch with you and pray with you. If these panics continue with great violence upon your body and mind, seek also the help of a trusted pastor and godly counsel close at hand who can walk with you in person through this affliction.

I will pray for you now.

O Lord God, who has found a ransom and has delivered Thy people from the power of darkness, look in tender pity upon this afflicted one who has been tormented so long. Deliver from the assaults of the evil one, from terror by night and by day, and from these dreadful panics that overwhelm soul and body. Speak peace to the troubled heart, and let the blood of the Lamb be its confidence and covering. Bring forth this soul into liberty, and let it live and declare the works of the Lord. Give faith to lay hold on Christ, patience to wait upon Thee, and in due time a song of deliverance, that gratitude may be deeper and joy more jubilant because Thou hast saved with a great salvation. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Hold fast to Christ. He will not forsake those who trust in Him, and He is able to keep you and to give you perfect freedom in His service.
