We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already defeated every power of darkness. The torment you are experiencing is real, but it is not from God. Scripture tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). The anxiety and oppression you feel, especially when engaging in spiritual disciplines, is a tactic of the enemy to drive a wedge between you and your faith. But we declare that this will not stand—Jesus has already won the victory.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The witchcraft and demonic activity in your home is an abomination before the Lord, and it must be dealt with in the name of Jesus. You are not powerless—you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy thrives in secrecy and fear, but we break that power now in the mighty name of Jesus.
To close these spiritual portals, you must take authority in Christ. Begin by confessing any known sin in your life and repenting before the Lord. Scripture says, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). Then, command every demonic presence and every ungodly spirit to leave your home in the name of Jesus. Speak with authority, for Jesus said, *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you"* (Luke 10:19 WEB). You may also consider anointing your home with oil, as a symbol of the Holy Spirit’s presence, and praying over every room, declaring it a place of peace and sanctity for the Lord.
We also encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. The enemy isolates, but God calls us into community. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB). Do not face this battle alone—reach out to a pastor or trusted Christian friends who can pray with you and help you walk through this season.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack from the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of fear, anxiety, and oppression that has been placed upon them. We rebuke every demonic presence in their home and command every portal opened by witchcraft to be shut in the name of Jesus. We declare that this home is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are with them, even in the midst of this spiritual battle. Give them boldness to stand firm in Your truth and to resist the enemy, knowing that he must flee (James 4:7). Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly believers who can support and pray for them. Heal their mind and heart from the torment they have endured, and restore to them the joy of their salvation.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful and just to deliver us from every evil work and to preserve us for Your heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18). We declare victory over this situation, for the battle belongs to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Do not lose heart, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Continue to immerse yourself in Scripture, prayer, and worship, even when it feels difficult. The enemy seeks to wear you down, but God is building your endurance and refining your faith. You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you. Trust in Him, and He will lead you to victory.
