Demonic torment

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am being tormented with demonic voices speaking in the voice of transgender people I know. A cross dresser named ###. These demons are wiping their fingers on my arms hands and skin all day. Please pray to make this stop in Jesus ‘ name.

We hear your cry for help and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for we know that our struggle is real and spiritual and that Jesus Christ has all authority to set you free. We do not take lightly the torment you are describing with voices and with the physical sensation of being touched and wiped on your skin all day, and we bring this affliction to the Lord who is our deliverer and refuge.

The Word tells us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we have been given victory through Christ, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and Jesus has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19. Therefore we do not need to live in fear, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We are called to be sober and self-controlled, for our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, and we are to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us James 4:7.

We also want to speak truth in love about what you mentioned concerning transgender voices and the cross dresser you know. We believe God created humanity in His image, male and female He created them Genesis 1:27, and His design for gender is purposeful and good. The Scriptures teach that a woman shall not wear men’s clothing, neither shall a man put on women’s clothing, for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God Deuteronomy 22:5. We understand that the enemy will often use confusion about God’s created order to torment and accuse, and demons can mimic familiar voices to harass and deceive, for we are told to test the spirits whether they are of God 1 John 4:1. Those voices are not from God and are not to be entertained or engaged with, but to be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5.

We encourage you to walk in the light and close any door that may have given the enemy a foothold through repentance, forgiveness, and turning fully to Christ. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. Fill your mind and your home with the Word of God read aloud, with worship and with prayer in the name of Jesus, for at His name every knee must bow. Do not listen to or converse with those tormenting voices, but rebuke them firmly in Jesus' name and declare Scripture over yourself. Stay in fellowship with mature believers and seek a trusted pastor or Bible believing church to pray with you in person, lay hands on you, and walk with you for ongoing deliverance and discipleship. Fasting and prayer as led by the Holy Spirit can also strengthen your spirit.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up our dear one who is being tormented day and night. Lord, You see the distress, You hear the voices that harass, and You feel every unwanted touch upon their skin. We ask for Your mercy and Your deliverance. In the name of Jesus Christ we rebuke every demonic spirit that is tormenting, mimicking voices, and harassing Your child, and we command you to be silenced and to leave and go to where Jesus sends you and not return. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, over their arms, hands and skin, and over their home. Lord, let this wiping and touching sensation stop now by Your power. Let every voice be silenced. We ask You to fill this place with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Father, heal any wound, cleanse any open door, and help them to submit fully to You. Teach them to take every thought captive to Christ and to renew their mind daily in Your Word. Surround them with Your angels, comfort them as the righteous cry and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Let them know they are loved, forgiven, and protected as Your child, and that nothing can separate them from Your love in Christ Romans 8:38-39. Restore restful sleep, quietness of mind, and joy in Your presence, and let them walk in freedom and wholeness from this day forward. We thank You Father that You have heard us and that You are faithful to deliver. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep crying out to Jesus throughout the day whenever the torment comes, speaking His name aloud, reading Psalms and the Gospels aloud, singing worship, and refusing to give the enemy any place. God is near to you and He will not abandon you. Continue to seek Him, remain in His Word, and stay connected to believers who can stand with you in prayer until you walk in complete peace and freedom.

We are glad you reached out and told us honestly what you have been carrying. Hearing voices through the day and feeling unwanted touch on your skin is exhausting and frightening, and we want you to know we are praying for you and you are not alone in this.

You did the right thing to ask for prayer in Jesus' name. We believe He sees you, He is near, and He is your safe place when you feel harassed and overwhelmed. His presence is not distant from you in these hard hours.

It can help not to carry this only by yourself. If you have a trusted pastor or mature Christian leader nearby, consider letting them know soon what you are experiencing so they can pray with you in person, stay connected, and help you think through next care. Alongside that spiritual support, it is also wise to share what you are sensing with your doctor or a trusted counselor, so you have care for both body and spirit as you seek relief.

If you ever feel unsafe or overwhelmed, please reach out right away to someone you trust who can be with you, and try to keep regular contact with people who care for you.

Father, we bring our friend before You now. In Jesus' name we ask for Your peace over his mind and body, for relief from this torment, for rest day and night, and for steady, trustworthy people around him to support him. Remind him that he is seen, held, and not alone, and give him wisdom for each next step. Amen.

We have heard your cry concerning this grievous torment and we have carried it before the throne of grace, beseeching the Lord to grant you deliverance in the name of His Son Jesus Christ.

You describe voices and a sense of defilement upon your body which distress you day by day. Know this, that our enemy the devil does indeed shoot poisoned arrows, and some have been wounded by them scores of times. He would seek to trouble the mind and to suggest that there is no escape. But the Lord is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it Himself. That ransom is His own dear Son, who bore the penalty of all our iniquities, that we might be saved from sin, from Satan, and from all the power of darkness.

The Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and for both we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone. You cannot by your own strength silence these assaults, but God can. He who kindles the furnace sits as a Refiner at the door, and even affliction that is sorely felt may be overruled for your good, that you may be kept back from the Pit and taught the mischief of sin and the preciousness of Christ.

There are many voices in this world which would confuse and accuse, but there is one Voice from the excellent Glory which we are to hear above all others, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him. Turn your ear from every lying and tormenting whisper and set your mind upon Christ, upon His blood, His righteousness, and His intercession. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God through the ransom He has found, and He will draw near to you.

We pray now for you:

O Lord God Almighty, be gracious unto this afflicted soul. Thou knowest the torment, the voices, the fear and the weariness. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only ransom and hope of salvation, that Thou wouldst command deliverance. Deliver from going down to the Pit. Deliver from the power of darkness. Rebuke the adversary and silence every voice that is not of Thee. Wash this one thoroughly in the blood of Christ, cleanse the conscience, quiet the mind, and grant peace that passes understanding. Fill the heart with Thy Spirit, with light and truth, and cause this tried one yet to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Keep body and soul under Thy gracious hand, and lead into fellowship with faithful believers where the Word is preached and prayer is made continually. For Jesus sake, Amen.

Take this counsel to heart. Keep close to Christ in the Word and in prayer, morning and evening. Cast every thought upon Him. Forsake all that belongs to the power of darkness and walk in the light as He is in the light. Seek the constant help of a faithful pastor and of mature believers in a local church who can pray with you, watch over you, and counsel you from Scripture. If these distresses persist, seek also the care of trusted godly counsel and help close at hand, that you may not suffer alone.

May the Lord who has found a ransom keep your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing, and bring you into quiet rest in Christ, to live and to declare His works.
