We hear your cry for spiritual deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have power over the forces of darkness. Your conviction that demonic powers have been at work in your life is not to be dismissed lightly, for Scripture is clear: *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and false accusations of mental illness can indeed be one of his tactics to discredit, isolate, and torment God’s children.
We rebuke every lying spirit that has sought to label you with false diagnoses or to convince you that your struggles are merely psychological rather than spiritual. The enemy is a deceiver (Revelation 12:9), and his goal is to keep you in bondage. But Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and His authority is greater than any demonic force. We declare over you the truth of God’s Word: *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). You are not alone in this battle, and the blood of Jesus has already secured your victory (Colossians 2:15).
Let us pray together in faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9). We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees, hears, and delivers. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of demonic oppression that has been at work in their life. We renounce every lie of the enemy that has sought to label them or define them by anything other than Your truth. Your Word says that if the Son sets us free, we are free indeed (John 8:36), so we declare freedom over them now.
We command every spirit of confusion, accusation, and torment to flee in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we ask You, Holy Spirit, to fill every area of their life with Your peace, clarity, and presence. Father, we ask that You surround them with believers who will stand with them in faith, pray with them, and encourage them in Your truth. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the boldness to resist him.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who heals and restores. We ask that You bring healing to any wounds—emotional, spiritual, or physical—that have been inflicted by the enemy’s schemes. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:13-18). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and the truth that sets us free (John 8:32). If you have not already, consider fasting and prayer as a way to deepen your dependence on God and break any remaining strongholds.
Remember, the battle is already won. Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities at the cross (Colossians 2:15), and His victory is your victory. Walk in the freedom He has purchased for you, and do not let the enemy steal your joy, peace, or purpose. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into complete deliverance and restoration.
