Humble Servant of All
Since I was a child, I have experienced demonic harassment where demons influence people around me to do terrible things to me to push me toward unforgiveness. God recently helped me to understand the existence of this warfare in my life and has delivered me out of unforgiveness and thus from this harassment. However, I am still experiencing this harassment in certain ways especially in moments when I slip back into unforgiveness. I feel that in the past few days, unforgiving thoughts have been trying to creep into my mind and my mood has also been attacked so that I will be in a bad mood and not be obedient to God and be forgiving. At times, I experience health concerns that affect my mood and emotions so that may be what it is or maybe I ate something that affected my blood pressure or another physiological aspect of my body which has affected my mood negatively. I just had an experience with my brother in law (who has been used in this demonic harassment a lot but things in my relationship with him improved when I started being obedient to God and walking in forgiveness) where he seemingly did something very disrespectful to me while I was trying to give someone godly advice about a situation - he seemingly was talking over me and purposely trying to lead that person into not paying attention to what I was saying toward whatever he was saying. I could be wrong and misinterpreting what happened because this happened while I was on the phone with the other person and he was in the room with them but it really seemed like that's what he was doing. Please pray for me about this especially in context of this demonic harassment. Please also pray about a young person I know finding out from someone that someone else has been apparently spreading rumors about them that they called one of their friends fat. They also were told that other people are calling them fat. They are very upset and upset at the person who told them this information. This person is a Christian and I was trying to give them what I hope is godly advice about this situation and advice about walking in forgiveness. This is the person who my brother in law was seemingly just trying to stop me from giving godly advice to. Thank you.

We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He alone is our Deliverer, our Strong Tower, and the One who has already triumphed over every power of darkness through His death and resurrection. Your testimony of God’s deliverance from unforgiveness is a powerful reminder that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ has come to give us life abundantly—free from the chains of bitterness, offense, and demonic influence.

You have rightly identified that unforgiveness is a foothold for the enemy (Ephesians 4:26-27), and we praise God that He has already begun a mighty work in you to walk in obedience and forgiveness. But let us also remind you that this is a daily battle, one that requires putting on the full armor of God so that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). When the enemy whispers accusations or stirs up old wounds, you must immediately take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). The Word of God is your sword—wield it without hesitation. Declare scriptures like Colossians 1:13 over yourself: *"He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love."* When the enemy tries to magnify offenses, remind yourself of Christ’s words in Luke 6:27-28: *"But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."*

Regarding the situation with your brother-in-law, we urge you to guard your heart against assumptions, for the enemy can distort perceptions to fuel strife. Proverbs 18:13 warns, *"He who gives answer before he hears, that is folly and shame to him."* If you felt disrespected, pray for clarity and wisdom before confronting or reacting. Ask the Lord to reveal whether this was truly an attack or a misunderstanding. If it was indeed an attempt to undermine your godly counsel, remember that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Your responsibility is to remain steadfast in love and truth, trusting that God will vindicate and correct as He sees fit. Pray for your brother-in-law—that the Lord would soften his heart, expose any spiritual influences at work, and bring conviction where needed. Forgive him in advance, even as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13).

As for the young person struggling with rumors and hurtful words, this is another scheme of the enemy to breed division, insecurity, and unforgiveness. The Bible warns that *"the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity"* (James 3:6), and gossip is detestable to the Lord (Proverbs 6:16-19). Encourage this young believer to follow 1 Peter 2:23: *"When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously."* Remind them that their identity is not found in the words of others but in Christ alone (Galatians 2:20). If they are being called "fat" or other hurtful names, teach them to reject the lie that their worth is tied to their appearance. Instead, they should cling to Psalm 139:14: *"I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."*

However, we must also address the root of this conflict with wisdom. If rumors are being spread, the biblical response is not to retaliate but to seek reconciliation and truth in love (Matthew 18:15-17). If the person spreading rumors is a believer, they should be gently confronted with the goal of restoration. If they refuse to repent, the matter may need to be brought before the church. But the young person must also examine their own heart—have they contributed to strife in any way? Are they holding onto bitterness? Unforgiveness in their heart will only give the enemy more ground to work.

Lastly, we notice that while you acknowledge God’s work in your life, your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His blood that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory that is already won through His precious blood, for He has disarmed every ruler and authority and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15). Lord, we lift up Your child who has endured demonic harassment and spiritual attacks for far too long. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Father, we ask that You would expose every scheme of the enemy in their life—whether through unforgiveness, distorted perceptions, or physical ailments that seek to weaken their resolve. Strengthen them, Lord, in their inner being by Your Spirit (Ephesians 3:16), and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When the enemy whispers lies, let them immediately recall Your truth: that they are more than conquerors through Christ (Romans 8:37) and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

Lord, we pray for their brother-in-law. If there is any spiritual blindness or influence at work in his life, we ask that You would break it in Jesus’ name. Soften his heart, Lord, and grant him a spirit of humility and receptivity to Your truth. If this was a misunderstanding, bring clarity and reconciliation. If it was an attack, we bind every spirit of strife, division, and disrespect in Jesus’ name, and we loose Your peace and unity. Help our sibling in Christ to forgive fully, even as You have forgiven them, and to walk in love that covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).

Father, we also lift up this young person who is hurting from rumors and cruel words. Comfort them with Your love and remind them that their value is found in You alone. Give them the grace to forgive those who have wronged them, even as You forgave those who nailed Jesus to the cross. If there is any truth to the rumors, convict those involved and bring repentance. If it is slander, expose it and vindicate the innocent. Teach this young believer to guard their heart (Proverbs 4:23) and to respond with grace, not retaliation. Surround them with godly counsel and friends who will speak life into them.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over the godly advice being shared. Let no scheme of the enemy succeed in silencing Your truth. Give wisdom and discernment to know how to navigate these relationships in a way that honors You. We pray for physical healing as well—if there are health issues affecting mood or emotions, we ask for Your healing touch. Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and restore their joy (Psalm 51:12).

Finally, Father, we thank You that this battle is not theirs to fight alone. You are their Shield and their Exceedingly Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). We declare that every demonic stronghold in their life is being torn down right now in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, emotions, relationships, and body, and we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit to walk in victory. Let them rise up in the authority You have given them (Luke 10:19) and trample every work of the enemy underfoot.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. Amen.

Hey there,

We're right here with you, standing in agreement for your deliverance. We're claiming these promises over you:

🔹 "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, You shall condemn." (Isaiah 54:17)
🔹 "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4)
🔹 "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

We're also praying for your brother-in-law, that any spiritual blindness or influences would be broken, and that he would have a heart softened and receptive to God's truth. We're binding every spirit of strife, division, and disrespect in Jesus' name, and loosing peace and unity.

For the young person, we're asking God to comfort them with His love, remind them of their value in Him, and give them grace to forgive. We're also praying for physical healing if there are any health issues affecting their mood or emotions.

Keep standing strong, and remember, you're not alone in this fight. God is with you, and so are we, cheering you on! Keep trusting in Jesus, and watch Him move in your life.
