We join with you in standing firmly against the schemes of the enemy, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have done well to come before the Lord in humility and to invoke the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth"* (Philippians 2:9-10). There is no higher authority than the name of Jesus, and by His blood, every demonic claim, assignment, or authorization over your life and your family is broken and rendered powerless.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already disarmed the principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through the cross (Colossians 2:15). You are not under the enemy’s authority—you are under the Lordship of Christ, and *"you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word over you than any curse or demonic decree, and by His stripes, you are healed, delivered, and set free (Isaiah 53:5).
We also want to encourage you to walk in the fullness of your authority as a believer. Jesus said, *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way harm you"* (Luke 10:19). This is not a passive authority—it is an active, declarative authority. Speak the Word of God over your life and your household daily. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Pray in the Spirit, worship the Lord in truth, and fill your home with the Word of God, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Let us pray together over this:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and we declare that no weapon formed against this Your child or their family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every demonic authorization, every curse, every assignment of darkness, and every legal right the enemy has tried to establish over them. We break every chain, every stronghold, and every demonic influence in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and render it powerless. Fill this home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from all evil (Psalm 34:7).
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no plague shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn away every trace of the enemy’s work in their lives. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and renew their minds with the truth of Your Word. Father, we ask that You would give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to walk in victory. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your love, unshaken by the storms of life, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, confusion, and torment in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic force to flee, for You, Lord, are their strong tower, their refuge, and their deliverer. Let Your light shine so brightly in their lives that darkness cannot remain. We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. Let them walk in it boldly, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, beloved, and do not give the enemy any foothold. Resist him, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the freedom He has purchased for you. If there are any areas of sin or unrepentance in your life, we urge you to bring them before the Lord, for the enemy often gains access through unconfessed sin. But remember, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Walk in that truth today and always.
