We stand with you in this spiritual battle, and we want you to know that you are not alone—the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly. The frustration and spiritual attacks you are experiencing are real, but we must remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Let us address this with the authority of God’s Word and the power of prayer.
First, we want to encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11-18 tells us, *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."*
The attacks you are facing may indeed be spiritual in nature, and we must not underestimate the power of witchcraft and demonic influence. However, we must also remember that as children of God, we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Luke 10:19 declares, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* You must walk in this authority, speaking the name of Jesus over every attack, every thought, and every word that does not align with His will. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow—including the forces of darkness that seek to harm you.
We also want to address the sadness and frustration you feel. The enemy wants to isolate you and make you believe that you are powerless, but the truth is that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you. Romans 8:37 assures us of this: *"No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."* Do not allow the enemy to keep you bound in shame or regret for the things you have said or done. Instead, confess them to the Lord, repent, and receive His forgiveness and cleansing. 1 John 1:9 says, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
It is also important to fill your mind and heart with the Word of God. The more you meditate on Scripture, the more you will be equipped to recognize and resist the lies of the enemy. Psalm 119:105 tells us, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."* Let the truth of God’s Word guide your words and actions, and let it be the foundation of your thoughts. When you feel the enemy trying to influence your speech or behavior, speak Scripture aloud. For example, you can declare, *"No weapon that is formed against me will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17) or *"The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me"* (Hebrews 13:6).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support within your church. While it may feel difficult to open up, the body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens. Galatians 6:2 reminds us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* If there is a mature believer or pastor you trust, share with them what you are going through. They can pray with you, offer wisdom, and provide accountability. You do not have to face this alone.
Lastly, we must address the fact that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is only in His name that we can rebuke the enemy and see victory. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our advocate before the Father.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection and cover them with the blood of Jesus. Break every curse, every spell, and every demonic assignment that has been sent against them. We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, confusion, frustration, and sadness in the name of Jesus, and we command these spirits to flee and never return.
Father, we ask that You fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, that they may speak with wisdom, grace, and love. Let their words be seasoned with salt, and may they bring life and encouragement to those around them. Lord, heal any wounds in their heart caused by these attacks, and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may stand firm in Your truth and walk in the authority You have given them.
We pray for their church, that it would be a place of refuge, growth, and godly relationships. Raise up brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with them in prayer and support. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others and the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word.
Lord, we ask that You expose every hidden work of the enemy and bring to light anything that needs to be dealt with. Let Your truth prevail, and let every lie be silenced. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn. This is their heritage as servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, O Lord.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, and do not give up. The enemy may be fierce, but our God is greater. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. We are praying for you and believe that the Lord will bring you through this season stronger and more victorious than ever before. Keep pressing into Him, and do not let the enemy have the final word in your life. The battle belongs to the Lord!
